I would say best Vietnamese in Montreal. But I'm biased; been coming for well over 25 years.
Great place, great authentic food I'm totally going back before I leave Canada.
J'adore les grillades de ce restaurants et surtout leur sprint roll très croustillants toujours aussi bons même les restaurants vietnamien au quartier chinois ne sont pas comparable (accueil très amical)
Having spent months in Vietnam, i was on a mission to find authentic viet food in Mtl upon my return. And Hoai Huong is the right match.
They offer a large variety of authentic viet staples. Their pho is a delicious classic.
Their spicy Bun Bo Hue beef soup is spot on.
Their vermicelli salad bowls with pork or lemongrass beef is a must.
Their Banh Xeo crepe is delish.
Their "make your own" hand rolls are fun, fresh and great for an unique experience.
Clearly I've been here many times and all in good reason since their food is rich in flavor. Kind staff will take of you. Just go already and enjoy! Cheers
Best ever pho and number 25 is the bomb. Best Vietnamese in montreal hands down
I got out of my comfort zone and ordered #22... AMAZING!!!
Delicious. The Vietnamese pancakes are awesome.
Had a bo sa-te banh trang mam nem which is spicy satay beef and you make your own rolls with the rice paper, vermicelli and veggies. It's their speciality and it shows in the taste. If you want a tasty bowl of pho, i'd suggest Pho Tay Ho. Portion is big enough to share and it's pretty healthy too. Ordered pork and rice too because we wanted something else. I like how the meat is marinated.
One of the best vietnamese restaurants in Montreal. My family has been going to Hoai Huong for the last 20 years. It's our official go-to vietnamese restaurant. The staff is very nice and the food is always amazing. You MUST try the fried imperial rolls in rice paper as an apetizer... Not many restaurants make them with rice paper, but they do and they are the best. If you want a real taste of Vietnam, try some of their specialties like the grilled shrimp on sugar cane or the vietnamese pancake.
Favourite Vietnamese place in Montreal. My favourite place for Vietnamese in Montreal. My partner and I love the imperial rolls, the pho, the rice paper rolls (you get a platter of greens and meat and a plate of rice paper and you make your own rolls), and our favourite dessert, the che ba mau (a coconut milk drink with beans and green jelly).
Love that place! they give you a huge portion. the price is good for what you get :).
Went there for lunch. This may be the best Vietnamese resto in Montreal. The soup was excellent, can't describe the flavour. It was exquisite. I also had a chicken brochettes which were cooked to perfection. Must tell you that I ordered the lunch time special and at 12$ and change is a deal. The terrace was a great place to eat, and the service was exceptional. You got to try this place.L
Delicious Vietnamese dining.
Unfortunately did not respect 2meter physical distancing between our table and an other group. Server forgetful with our order. Good experience all the same.
Seriously the Best Vietnamese in town! Best Imperial rolls, soup, brochettes, & green papaya salad! And definitely the best (friendly) staff. My family (& friends) & I have been going there for years. Lunch or dinner they never disappoint!
Great little place for good Vietnamese food. The service was friendly, the variety of the menu was huge (maybe too much selection), but the waiter recommended some dishes for us to try, which all were really tasty and unique. The mango salad had very unique flavors that I would recommend to anyone going here. The two main dishes were very good too, though slightly too expensive for the type of place. I would recommend coming here with an open mind and going with what they recommend. All three of my dishes were well prepared and made for excellent photo subjects. If you take a look at my pictures, we ordered number 24 and 25 on the menu.
The best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Montreal. They’ve been in business for over 30 years and 2 generations. The food is unbelievably tasty and the service is super fast. The menu might be overwhelming but unless you’re super picky, you won’t be disappointed with any choice. Just ask them and they’ll tell you your best option based on what you like!
Really delicious deep fried spring rolls, chicken and rare beef soup. Super friendly service. Great local feel place. Will be back
