Diva #1 grew up running in and out of restaurants, her father always owned restaurants and she always had an uncle or two who had one as well. In the 90s the restaurant business was all about mom and pop restaurants, owned by families, with different generations working in the kitchen and on the floor. The menus were simple, usually geared towards the ethnicity of the family that owned the restaurant, and the décor was minimalist. In the 2000s restaurants became grander, chefs became celebrities, and the emphasis changed from family run restaurants to chef run restaurants.
Great neighborhood restaurant that is somewhat of a hidden gem. The menu is not a mile long, but what is on the menu is usually very delicious and enjoyable. The owners are Iranians and add their own special touch to the meals. Can be a bit pricey, but this is an unfortunate trend everywhere...
Best go-to restaurant in Westmount. We've been coming here for ten years. The service has never wavered in its hospitality and gracious attentions. Food is simply excellent, with its perfectly reliable Mediterranean cuisine and Italian, French, and Persian inflections. Other restaurants nearby come and go with varying degrees of hype, but this one remains the go-to restaurant for people in the know. Outshines all the rest in Westmount and the surrounding neighbourhood. Point final!

Delightful hidden gem!. Ate here last night with two friends. This restaurant is owned by an extremely friendly couple. Last time I had visited this restaurant was around 8 years ago, but it had stuck in my mind. This restaurant is not on a main boulevard...it is quaint and tucked away which adds to the charm of the place. When you walk in, you will feel like you walked into someone's kitchen.
BYOB is always a delightful bonus. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. All menu items are written on a chalkboard on the wall and are all table d'hotes - they come with your choice of soup or salad. I had the red lentil soup to start, and as my entree ordered the Scallopini Piccata. I am fairly convinced this is the same dish I had ordered the first time I visited. The dish was delicious...chicken was extremely moist and flavored with a delicious lemon sauce. The side of garlic pasta was great and very garlicky which I like. The menu options are reasonably priced as well, ranging from $19.99 to around $28.99 I believe. If you want a delicious, home style meal which won't break the bank and will leave you walking out full and happy, you should try this restaurant. I'll be returning more often from now on.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. The service and atmosphere were beyond reproach, and the food was incredible. The garlic pasta that came with my scaloppini and the tiramisu for dessert were respectively the best we have ever had of those dishes. Highly recommended and, it's byob!
Very decent place. We were a large group and there were 2 other large groups the night we went, so it's hard to guage how the service usually is. The atmosphere is a bit different and the lights are very low, but it has some charm. The food is good (yeah, the lamb is fatty, but come on, just don't eat the gristle ;) ), but presentation and the sides (potatoes or plain rice and a tomatoe) could be better. Recommended for a casual byob night.
Mike & Deb went elsewhere!. I think Mike & Deb went to another restaurant, 'Le Toqué' which is a top-rated restaurant in Montréal - not Toucheh.
I wouldn't want people to be misled: Toucheh is a family-run, delightful little restaurant where you bring your own wine. The food is varied and prepared with great care and attention. It is quite reasonable, certainly not a $$$ category. The service is excellent and delivered with a smile!
I would certainly recommend this little restaurant to anyone who is looking for a casual evening at a very affordable price.

I haven't had such a wonderful meal in years! My best friend took me here for my birthday and it was the best present! I'm Iranian and I was so excited to try the Iranian dishes and I was absolutely blown away. Every bite was rich and perfectly cooked. Each flavour was unique, but blended easily with the other flavours on the plate. The staff are so lovely! I can't wait to come back!!!!! Noosheh-joon! 💕

Fusion Persian-Italian food. I had the live plate, which was yummy and well made. Staff were great, helpful, and polite. Prices are on the high end but that comes with quality.
I ❤️ this place, everything was more than i expected, new experience in Iranian-Italian resturant where the food is tasty and different than normal iranian dish, more welcoming than i expected by owner to asked everything is good what we needed, most important u can bring your own 🍷, for me they have reasonable price but i asked of my friends they found a little bit pricy. The best experience! The food and flavors are just amazing. The chencheh kebabs is my fav dish there but everything else so far is super delicious!! The pastas are kid friendly and the kids enjoyed it very much! Special thanks to Chef Aziz!
The food here is very high quality, with incredible customer service. This is especially a very unique halal Italian Persian cuisine. The menu is Persian inspired and the food has mouth watering flavor. The vibe at this place is very nice and the food has a reasonable price as well. What I value most is when the chef made a clarification about a specific meat source not being halal, this shows a high degree of respect for customers and we were deeply appreciative of his honest gesture. I will continue to come back here for incredible food 🙏

Good restaurant with outstanding service. Food is pretty decent and is BYOB ( bring your own wine ). Pricing is good too and the place itself seems clean. Verdict : give it a try.
