My favour brunch place in Montreal are a Hof Kelsten and Lemeac ! Lemeac is a french bistro , amazing brunch and one of my favour restaurant for dinner Hof Kelsten , remind me of a NYC , meet Tel Aviv , Jewish Deli / bakery with the best ever shakshuka , smoke meat sandwich , schnitzel ect ..... with the best bread , Chala , croissant and babka ..... tons of other bakery product too !' The food is excellent , service too and I love the crowd Love going there alone or with friends and the best part is meeting Jeff . Highly recommend to all montrealers and all visitors !

I think Hof Kelsten is one of the best boulangeries in Montreal. The pumpernickel bread is delicious. The coffee is excellent and the Panettones should have stars of their own. My only two issues is that the pastries are exposed uncovered at the counter with employees and customers talking over it. I find it not the most hygienic. I also find it that the ingredients on the products is not available and the employees have more than once given wrong information. I live with someone with a serious allergy and it's very important for me to have information that is reliable and trustworthy available at all times.
