Located in the Latin Quarter of downtown Montreal, there is a tea salon and a separate tea store right beside it on Rue Emery right across from the Cineplex movie theatre. As soon as we sat down, we were brought a sample of tea, a small bell and the menu. The tea sample was that of a very delicious (and expensive) tea that won numerous awards this year in Taiwan. Even before we tasted it, the aroma of the tea was so fragrant and with one sip, we could both definitely understand how it won many awards! We ended up purchasing a small sample of this tea after we left the tea salon because it was that good
Montréal is lucky to have this place. Vast selection of teas. Knowledgeable staff. Nothing to do with David's Tea (not that there is anything wrong with David's Tea). Their assortment is quite unique.
They also give tea workshops of all kinds: a great gift for someone you know who loves tea.

Quand tu as envie d'un bon et vrai thé, c'est l'endroit par excellence. Je ne savais pas qu'il existait autant de sortes de thé ni de manières de l'infuser. Très bon spot aussi, dans le quartier latin juste en face du cinéma, près de tout!
Great specialty teas. This is a tea house. There are very limited dessert options but a very serious place for mainly asian teas (no milk/sugar). Servers are knowledgeable about a variety of eastern teas from oolongs, pu-erhs, white and greens along with the poper way to serve and drink them. This is also a no technology zone and use of computers and cell phones is generally frowned on as is loud talking. If you are looking for a place to destress for half an hour this is it. teas generally range from 6 - 10$ a pot and can be shared so price is not that bad considering the quality.

Ahhhhhh.... Nice, calm, relaxing atmosphere... definitely can't mistake that it's a tea place. Tea is the main draw here, staff is very knowledgeable about their product. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. This is not the kind of tea you get with milk or sugar, btw! Desserts were delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. Will return.
Cozy spot and great desserts! Reservations are recommended.
