The first thing that hits you is how the staff makes you feel at home and super comfortable. A glass of water not too warm, not too cold right away. Next you take in the combination of decor ranging from industrial concrete floor, beautiful exposed wood on the ceiling, painted brick around the honest open kitchen, the old huge converted glass garage door leading to the back terrace. You look at the menu and find cozy classic drinks with some wild twists (funky berries and herbs). Then you find mixed into the well rounded menu of game, veggies, and fungi, some more funky hand foraged goodies! Oh my the wines! No Bordeaux here. Think off the beaten path biodynamic and organic sometimes unfiltered wines that sing like nothing you've tasted before. They are all fantastic and the staff pairs them like a master sommelier. I have to recommend closing the meal with their delicious desserts and a calvados.
Merci
