Probably the most relaxing meal we've had in years. A table in the corner of the terrace, not much noise from traffic on the thoroughfare, a helpful waitress and good selections on the menu. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken, composed of fresh greens and generous helpings of kalamata olives, deliciously rich feta cheese, and a nicely-grilled chicken breast. Also sampled the penne primavera, which was quite good and lightly covered in a complex sauce. The manicotti's sauce -- tomato base with yoghurt or sour cream in the Turkish style -- was also very good. A blackberry tisane rounded out the wonderful meal, and the tiramasu that I also sampled was rich and understated.

Excellent brunch place. J'y suis retournée récemment après une absence de plus de deux ans et les oeufs bénédictines (chèvre et asperges, essayé aussi aux artichauts) étaient tout aussi extraordinaires qu'à mon souvenir. Assiettes garnies d'une montagne de fruits et patates, bon service, petite terrasse très agréable l'été.
Freshly squeezed OJ, yum!!. Superb brunch place, every plates come with assorted fruits that are cut out like works of art! The OJ is freshly squeezed and absolutely delicious. The crowd is very young and lots of couples, loved the experience.
This is THE breakfast spot in the Plateau. The food is always good, the service is great and the prices can't be beat. If you're looking for a standard breakfast spot this is where to go. The menu selection is huge and everything is delicious.

This place is super affordable and the food is exquisite. The two of us ate for under 20$.
Worth the Visit. As soon as I walked in and saw the leather armchairs and felt the warm air I knew I'd like it. We ordered the "super" and poached eggs w/toast etc. Both plates came with lots of fruit and a good variety also. The service was very friendly and coffee refills were well-paced. If you do not want your toast pre-buttered you might want to request it. I will definitely go back....except I am trying to sample many breakfast places so it might be awhile.
Touch of fruits with the dish was perfect!! elegantly designed, fresh, and tasty. the rest of the dish was regular. the service was not good but the waiter was polite and caring.
Benedicts!. Been here half dozen times, and they consistently make the best benedicts i've had in montreal. they come with a mountain (+ or - ten different kinds) of fruits plus potatoes plus bottomless coffee. cute decor with great lighting in the back room. prices are very reasonable too.
definitely 10/10 for breakfast or brunch.
Went here for breakfast last weekend and it was totally amazing! The overall portion size was large, the service was great, and the elegantly placed fruit was a great finishing touch. Not very often you get that much fruit included with your meal. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I visited this place for brunch twice during my short trip in Montreal. Literally fair price, good portions, rich Benedicts with variety of fruits. Staffs are very friendly. I will certainly visit L’Évidence again:)

Was yummy! Food and service was great! I like the egg Florentine. Pretty busy on a Saturday morning, it was a bit loud cause there was a soccer game but it’s all good. I think they ran out of bananas cause the berry and banana pancake had no banana 🤔 would come back
A gem! We had dinner on the patio, and it was so relaxing with the lights and music. We had the carbonara pasta, and they were great!! Of course, I can't forget to mention the very kind waitress who welcomed and took care of us. 100% would recommend!
There are a lot of options here and they seem to do a good job will all of them. Although we were not blown away, the food was good and the service was great. You can get breakfast for most of the day, as well as salads and many other items. Prices are very reasonable as well.
