Amazing food and amazing people! We stopped here for lunch on our way out of the city and it was one of the best meals on our trip! Management treated you as family and the chicken, potatoes and coleslaw were delicious and very filling. The manager was sweet enough to let us sample the ribs and they were probably the best ribs I've ever had. If I wasn't already full I'd probably have bought those too. Definitely suggest this as a must-eat destination.

Great. We stumbled onto this place while in line for Schwartz's. It was raining and we didn't feel like getting wet. It was rather easy to find as we just had to follow the aroma of roasted chicken and ribs. Coco Rico is a Portuguese eatery that offers great chicken, ribs, potatoes and deserts. I would recommend giving it a try. Just follow your nose and you will find it.

Amazing ribs!. These might be the best Portuguese ribs in town. I've been coming here for the ribs since September 2006 and I remain a devotee. For a mere $8 plus tax you can get a big plate of them with barbecue potatoes (also delicious). Be sure to ask for extra sauce.

The other menu items (roast chicken and pork loin) don't really stand out--they're all good, but not nearly as good as the ribs, so I always end up getting the ribs when I go.

The flavours... so good!. Cheap, cheerful and they helped me to order in French! Make sure to get the sauce and spices for the true flavour. Try a nata, I'd already had one earlier in the day from the portuguese bakery on plateau mont-royal, but these ones looked good :)

I can not even begin to explain how delicious the Portuguese chicken sandwich is and so cheap. I'm here a few times a week.

Good chicken. Unassuming place. Great bbq chicken with decent sides. The spicy sauce is out of the world! Would have preferred a more diner-like setting though, the high stools facing a wall aren't exactly conducive to conversations.

Delicious sandwiches. They all deserve a try. they are all yummy. If you like spicy (and i mean really spicy) i recommend you to bring your own sauce, as the local sauces are not spicy at all.

Excellente rôtisserie portugaise. C'est bon, ça sent bon... bon... c'est aussi un peu gras... mais quand même... C'est frais... l'odeur est incroyable. On ne mange pas sur place... c'est pour emporter... Poulet... et patates à la portugaise!
