I had an amazing time last night at this restaurant and our server was extremely nice. This was my second time there and I definitely recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone
La meilleure place pour manger des créations de sushis hors serie, bonne continuation c’etait trop bon surtout besame mucho est excellent
I came here for dinner on a Saturday. Booking in advance is a must. We had good food and great service. There was a music playing playing the piano and singing as well.
The Romeo and Juliet roll is absolutely to die for. A definite standout in the meal. I would definitely come here again and recommend to my friends.
We walked in without a reservation and got lucky thanks to the charming waiter who found a spot for us ( group of 4) on a busy Easter weekend. The food was amazing, the drink selection is superb and the service was outstanding. They had a live piano player as well. A must visit place in Montreal and remember to make reservation!
Liked the place. Service and food. Just maybe wished they left a drink menu on the table instead of taking menus away after I order. But besides that it's good.
Happy that I tried this place it's a nice ambiance.
I had lunch at Sho-dan with a friend during Autumn 2019. She said her friend recommended this Japanese restaurant as it seems to be one of the good ones in Montreal. According to her, the sushi are of Canadian produce. Do not compare the ones here and the ones in Japan, alright. No place in the world can compete with Japan's sushi quality. But the ambience and service were not bad.
Top food, fresh and original.
Top service, nice and quick.
It is a little dark inside (to us) but otherwise one of the best Japanese restaurants we ever had.
One of the best sushi to eat nearby Mcgill University, a spot to comfort myself after exams while I was student.
The food are always fresh and well-seasoned, service is friendly 5/5 :)
The service was a bit slow, but it was a pretty busy night. The food, however, was excellent. We ordered tempura shrimp, salad and a variety of sushi along with the Mont blanc for desert. Everything was great! Highly recommended!
One of the top 5 sushi restaurants in MTL. Classy ambiance (the live piano and cello helps), impeccable service, and the well-prepared ornemental dishes will leave your appetite and senses satisfied (visually and from an olfactory perspective too). I had the Mtl-à-Table table d'hôte, with delicious crispy gyozas as an entrée, interesting bites of tartare over a crispy bad, and a stir fry topped with a grilled white cod. We also tried a bunch of their sushi plates, and the Pheonix, Jade, and Caliente were all delicious. Their wine selection was also interesting and well priced. Highly recommend you try it out.
