Excellent service and delicious food! I've been wanting to come visit this place for years but kept missing the reservation openings. Finally this year it worked out. The items on the menu were a bit more adventurous than I'm used to... (With brains and sweetbreads on the menu) but our dishes were very good. The duck was cooked perfectly and the truffle veal was amazing! The morels were delicious but such a small dish for the price! Dessert was perfect. Not too sweet nor too heavy!
My expectations for this restaurant were quite high and overall I think it was a great experience. What stood out to me were the oysters and the pate. The oysters were incredibly fresh and only lasted a minute or so on our table. The pate was also great but I wish the consistency was a bit more spreadable. I also want to mention the bread that came as a side for the tartare and pate… it was phenomenal.
I do have to mention that the flavours for the lobster pasta were very unique. It tasted like a coconut cream sauce with a very unique spice that I wasn’t able to distinguish. Definitely give it a try if you’re feeling spontaneous. Would I order that dish again? Probably not.
Lastly, the service. I didn’t catch her name but our server was incredibly witty and had a great sense of humour.
Honestly it was one of if not the best meal I've ever had in my life. Service was exceptional, and our server was very helpful in choosing which dishes to get, as well as an appropriate wine pairing.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish had a perfectly balanced flavour profile, and was flawlessly executed.
I cannot hype this place up enough. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go. You will not be disappointed.
