Everything tasted great. The service was fast. The famous smoked meat had a more subtle flavor than I expected, but still tasty nonetheless. The cheesecake was my favorite piece of cheesecake I’ve had. The chocolate crust and topping paired really nicely with the raspberry.

When in Montréal, a visit to an institution like Reubens is a must. It was Grand Prix weekend, and to our surprise, there wasn’t a wait. That said, shortly after we arrived, the crowds started to roll in. Having had a smoked meat poutine for lunch, we opted for something different. The Philly Roast Beef Sandwich was pretty good. The bread fresh. The peppers and onions cooked well. The roast beef - on point. The only drawback was the cold cheese. It could have used some more time in the oven. If there are mobility issues, the stairs down may turn others away. Service was excellent. Engaging. Attentive.
