My wife was hesitant to try this place thinking that it was your typical middle eastern place. Exactly the opposite.
We started off ordering just the Bombay wrap and omnivore plate. The pineapple chutney in the wrap tasted so fresh. The kids really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice.
Everything was delicious. We ended up ordering an additional plate: the carnivore. The chicken skewers were so tender.
We then ordered the NAMOURA for desert.
Almond, coco and rose water syrup cake. Yum!
We really enjoyed our meal.
Service is a bit slow here, but the food is excellent.
I ordered the Omnivore. I wanted the Carnivore, but the waiter mentioned it's too much food. I appreciated the feedback. The meat tasted good, hummus, salad, and rice. Nothing is bad here, worth the price.
The food was fresh and tasty. We ordered the omnivore plate, carnivore plate, and the semolina cake as dessert. The carnivore plate was great to share with one other person and the omnivore is great for someone with a larger appetite. The salad was a bit salty but it wasn't a bother. The dips were my favourite part, they were fresh and flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy. The dessert was very rich and we were glad we didn't order too much of it. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here.
It was my first time trying Omnivore and I was pleasantly surprised! Food was fresh and also healthier than the Lebanese places I frequent. Very nice staff as well, I would recommend!
Went there on a Monday evening. It was not crowded. Ordered the vegetarian dish with 5 options. Took hummus (basic, but good), fattoush salad (classic, simple dressing, refreshing, different textures dur to the pita chips makes the salad even better), couscous salad (good and filling), quinoa salad (sooo goood with a sesame oil and salt dressing, very unique flavor) and a broccoli salade (contained crunchy radish and apple slices, which is light to eat). Honestly nothing bad to say about the veggie dish. For 20$ (tax and tip included), I was full, the portion was big and you get as much pita as you want until you finish your hummus
My friend got the chicken omnivore dish and she loved the chicken, saying it qas juicy and very well seasoned and she was surprised by how good everything on the dish was.
Highly recommend for all types of diets (vegan, vegetarian, keto, other)! Great food and just prices!
Delicious food! The garlic sauce is just amazing and everything is flavourful. The service was just a little slow but the staff was nice it didn't bother us too much.
Their shawarmas are just like they make them in the Middle East. Chicken shawarma was the best I’ve ever had in Canada, and that’s saying a lot considering Ottawa is known for being the shawarma capital of Canada 😌
Stuffed grape vines were 10/10, tabouli was missing burgol and olive oil but still good!
Cute patio, good service, the only negative was that they didn’t have WiFi. Can’t wait to come back!
We ordered the tabouli salad, grape vines to start and the chicken and beef shawarma. The grape vines were a bit pricey but they’re definitely worth it and was my favourite thing I tried alongside the chicken shawarma. We liked that their shawarmas were thin and not stuffed and packed in like most shawarmas. The tabbouli salad was good too, the beef shawarma I wouldn’t recommend. Service was good too, will come back to try the plates.
