Hotel was totally amazing!
We were so happy to stay there.
The reason why I put this rate is... After service.
I forgot one of my favorite $100 hair mask, I just bought it, so it was brand new and used only once. I left it in the shower.
I called hotel the day after, and nothing was entered into the system. I clearly remember where I left it on the shelf in the shower.
Probably someone took it or through away.
I had hope I could get it mailed to me, and proof how good their service is, but unfortunately not.
Other services when we were staying was amazing. Just this one big disappointment.

I used to love afternoon tea at the Ritz prior to the pandemic. I finally went today after over two years and I was shockingly disappointed. Absolutely appalling food and service. The food was sparse and terrible. I can not believe that they charge so much for such an embarrassingly tiny portion. What happened to the nice sandwiches and small pastries that were being served prior to 2020? Now about the service...the staff is nice, but very overwhelmed. Once we were served our samples of what was supposed to be our afternoon tea, not one of them ever came to see us again. We were never asked if we needed anything, if everything was OK, nor were we offered hot water or additional sandwiches/desserts. Only after chasing down one of the staff members for our bill, we were asked if we liked our experience (surely simply because it was time to type in the tip!). Needless to say, we all sat there - stunned. We left very hungry and very much disappointed in the experience. Don't waste your money or your time going for afternoon tea at the Ritz Carlton in Montreal.

my review is for the High Tea experience which was absolutely wonderful ! the perfect outing for mother's day which we plan to do again every year! The staff are so incredibly nice, they make you feel like royalty. the atmosphere felt like we were in a castle. the food and the tea was just divine and although it may look small and not a lot, we were FULL when we left! every bite was just so delicious, my favorite was the scones with the lemon cream. 😋😊

Very special people work where. They are caring & mean it. This is my favourite Ritz Carlton & I have stayed at many world wide. They're caring attitude truly makes your stay better. The food is outstanding. The hotel is filled with history & art. The furnishings & up keep are impeccable. I fully suggest a visit. The best period!

Stayed at the Ritz in March 2022 for 2 nights. I received an email from client service before my booking to see if I had any special requests to make it a great experience. The gym was clean and well equipped for the small space they had. Pool was nice, loved the lounge chairs by the fireplace.

I had one of the best experience here. They greet me from a very long distance begin from even when we were still in the car. Hotel decorating is phenomenal, service is on my top tier. Clean and classic. I appreciate their dedication for their hotel experience, will definitely come back again if next time Montreal.

This location gets by on excellent service. The staff is just lovely and we would return for their amazing service. They were very welcoming.
Unfortunately the hotel itself has a few shortcomings. One, there was an issue with the hot water at night, and only cold water was running. Yikes! Two, the room walls/flooring are quite thin. We could hear the folks above us and beside us.
Besides this, the room was nice, the dinner from the Ritz menu was tasty and filling, and the breakfast was good. All in all, we would probably return, but if you’ve been to the Toronto location, you might be a tad bit disappointed in the room.

The Renoir Restaurant is one of the best places for brunch in the city. From the food to Chef Olivier Perret's team, it is first rate. We had a range of delicious brunch fare from Oysters to smoked salmon to beet salad to macaroni salad to roast beef carved by a chef - the produce was fresh and perfectly done. Omelette's with a veritable range of toppings can be ordered on demand from very friendly staff on hand. The lattes and fresh orange juice were excellent. One can also order eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes right to your table. Desserts are a vision to the eye and irresistible. A word of advice: if you go for brunch, make sure you are truly HUNGRY. A must visit!!

La nourriture est correct, le petit-déjeuner mériterait d’etre Sous forme de buffet (avec du pain frais, malheureusement trop souvent ferme).
Je retournerai avec grand plaisir au Sofitel Montréal lors de mon prochain déplacement.

All the staff had an amazing way of making you feel comfortable and helpful. The food and service was amzing at the Renoir. The beds were like sleeping on clouds😊

Un groupe de plusieurs jeunes sont entrés dans la chambre d’à côté vers 3h du matin et on fait le party avec de la musique jusqu’à 5h du matin malgré plusieurs plaintes, on me répétait qu’on avait la situation en main à la réception. Lorsque je décide de sortir de la chambre pour voir d’où venait le bruit, je vois le service au chambre qui apporte de la glace à la chambre dans un pot à champagne ? On encourage la fête au dépriment de la nuit des autres ! Inconcevable. Lorsqu’on en parle le lendemain, personne n’était au courant de l’incident parmi les employers qui pourtant ont reçu de nombreuses plaintes dans la nuit. Je ne recommande pas, à moins que vous soyez en ville pour la fête.

Nice big room with an amazing view. The bathroom has heated floors and a tub big enough for two. Coffee in the room was from a really nice Expresso maker.
Nice touch they had jazz playing in the room on the Bose.
The staff were very accommodating.
I love the location. We are a block from ice sculptures and shops.

Très bon séjour ! Le lit était comme un nuage, tellement confortable, parfait pour se reposer après une bonne semaine de passé dans Montréal. Le petit déjeuner en chambre était super, mentions spéciale pour le jus de canneberge blanche et le morceau de baguette (important pour un français en manque de pain �). Service très accueillant et agréable.

If you are in Montreal you have to stay here! Charlotte and the entire team at the Sofitel make you feel so welcome and really go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay. The room was so lovely and well appointed. Great location. 5 star service! When I’m back in Montreal there’s no question where I’ll stay.

Je suis arriver là le Matin pour une petite Déjeuner d'affaires avant allez au Spa Saint James au Ritz Carlton . La Mademoiselle étais très accueillante et souriante et annoncer une Table et ma dit le nom du Garçon qui va m'a servi . Louis était au-delà superbe et professionnel . Jus d'orange frais pressé , Chocolatine , les fruits fraîche et du pain doré , j'ai parler avec le Chef aussi . Decor est subtile et jolie . Agréable ici , comme la Famille , je hate pour la Terrasse et la salade Niçoise cet Été . Sofitel , Louis et la Staff 5 étoiles , Mykaelprince
