We came without a reservation but they seated us provided we vacate the table in an hour and half. The service was fast, efficient and extremely helpful and attentive, so there was no problem with the timing. The food was the best we had outside of Potugal. We started with filet of sardines and roasted octopus for appetizers. The sardines are not as fresh as in the Mediterranean, but the octopus was first rate. The main courses were boulliabaise, Portuguese version of paella (wetter than risotto), confit of duck and mushrooms in risotto. We finished the last drop of broth and last grain of rice as the layers of flavors kept enticing our palates.

L’accueil, l’ambiance, le staff, le service, la nourriture, la présentation, le sommelier sur place ainsi d’avoir rencontrer le propriétaire, ce restaurant à fait en sorte que notre soirée à été parfaite. C’était notre première fois et c’est définitivement mon restaurent préférer à Montréal! Sa vaut la peine d’aller se gâter et manger en bonne compagnie avec du vino.
Je vous le recommande fortement sans hésitation !

Ferreira is one of those go to places where all the actors are in sync to provide a 100% perfect production irrespective of the size of the audience. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave the professionalism of the staff, exquisite plating,amazing and flavourful food, are all calibrated to assure there is no doubt you will give this venue a standing ovation. Ferreira truly achieves the science of running a first class restaurant. If you have never been there you are truly missing something special and unlike many of the newer venues that camouflage under decor and nouvelle cuisine you will not leave hungry. This is old world European restaurant culture reinvented. Bravo
