Wow. Who knew a bagel could be so delicious. I got the classic sesame bagel, it was still hot it was so fresh.
The bagel was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy and beautiful on the inside. The sesame seeds must have been harvested from heaven, they were so good. Again, who knew bird feed on a bagel could be so enjoyable.
This is NOT the st. viateur cafe where they prepare the bagels for you. Just a bagel shop. They did have cream cheese and drinks here though.
I have been going to this location for years. 100% quality, excellent prices, always fresh bagels available in large quantities. Never disappointed, definitely to be recommended!

This place has amazinggg bagels. I drive from ottawa on a regular basis just to bring back a dozen bagels. If you’re lucky, you may be able to stumble on the warm freshly made ones. The sesame ones are a must but you should try out the different flavours, if you’re into a sweeter bagel, the blueberry ones are also very delicious.
The best bagels in Montreal. We tried fairmount the day before, but this was a completely different experience. There are seats inside as well as outside, dozens of different bagel flavours as well as spreads and toppings. You can also buy bagels in bulk. We bought a dozen to take home.
Still the best bagels around. They're consistent, fresh and always has great seasoning, covered almost completely with sesame seeds or everything seasoning. Service is friendly too.
The best of the best when it comes to bagels, first time I was able to try a bagel fresh from the store and it was worth it! The maple apple bagels are so good, please sell these in store! A must visit when in Montreal. Also the liberte cream cheese is the best and it's impossible to find in Ontario.
Love the bagels but….
You gotta start taking debit and credit as a form of payment, I had to walk 4 blocks to the closest ATM for cash. It todays post-pandemic world we can always have cash to fall back on. Also… wouldn’t hurt the staff to smile once in awhile, they looked like tireless bagel making machines that wanted to stick their heads in the bagel oven.

I loved this exceptional bagel joint. They're very clear about their value and deliver it beautifully. The service was quick, bagel absolutely perfect (I had the classic salmon with cream cheese), and the melon slices for some freshness made for a lovely touch. If you're near Rue Mont Royal, go. If you're not, go.
