Best ramen ever! Would definitely come again but sit downstairs or further away from large groups. Was extremely loud upstairs to a point where a woman screamed and the waiter had to ask her to calm down. Wait time of 45 minutes on Saturday but we took a walk around and got the text when our table was ready. Food is worth the wait! So so delicious.
My friends and I came here and the wait wasn’t so bad. We sat near seats right by the kitchen. The ramen was amazing, the taste was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken topping is so good!
Since we were seated at the bar area near the counter and kitchen, each time there was a phone call, the staff would reach out their arms from over your head. This might be slightly uncomfortable, but wasn’t so bad in my case.
Honestly quite possibly the best ramen I have ever had in my life. I still dream about it. The broth was full of depth and flavour, right amount of salt. The pork belly serving was generous and just perfect in fatty content. The egg was wonderfully marinated and jammy inside. The noodles were freshly made in-house! Would go back again and again.
I have tried many ramen places in Montreal and this is by far the best I've been to! Great proportions and ingredients (many of which are usually extra in other ramen places). The seasoning that they give you separately (shown in the picture) is the cherry on the top. It's pickled ginger, sesame, hot chili and grated garlic (again it's usually extra in other places). Great service. Servers speak English and French fluently. Really a hidden gem!
This is my absolute favorite ramen place in Montreal. The tonkotsu pork broth is my go-to choice (a classic) but keep in mind that although the umami is through the roof, it's definitely on the extreme heavier side. Make sure to get a refreshing drink to pair with your meal or finish off with a dessert to balance out that heavyness. I like to add the following extras: bamboo, half an egg and green onions to my ramen.
My friend recommended this restaurant and we went there for lunch. We had both takoyaki and chicken karaage for appetizers. It was very good! The meat was tender and the soup was rich and creamy. I wished there were more toppings that came with the regular price. When we left there were still people waiting to be seated, might want to go there earlier to avoid wait time!
Only our second day in Montreal but this ramen spot has been our favorite thus far! The broth is on point and I can say this is the first time I’ve had flavorful tofu. Dining rooms are closed currently but the vibe inside when we were picking up was dope - hip hop and ramen! Good portions and they even threw in a free Coke when a pricing mix up happened. If this is Montreal, then we love it!
Went on a date night here.
While the evening was off to a slow start due to the long wait time (I recommend getting on the waitlist using yelp as soon as you are heading here!) The food was worth the wait!
We had the korokke as an appetizer. It was flaky crunchy and incredibly tasty.
We then had an awesome Tonkotsu broth ramen dish with the pork as the meat. The meat was incredibly tender and complemented the dish perfectly!
We left this restaurant with very full bellies!
The portions are incredibly satisfying so bring your stretchy pants.
Very very tasty worth ever second we waited! I recommend this place!
