The good:
The service is very very good.
The bread and butter too.
The choice of cocktails and wines is good.
Entre: The pork samosas with greek yougurt and coriander sauce were delicious. Crispy on the outside and moist inside. Definitely a winner!
Mains: Braised pork cheeks with celeriac purée and steak with potatoes were ok not outstanding, a bit on the bland side.
The cod was extraordinary. Melt in your mouth fish cooked to perfection. Delicious chardonnay sauce, caramelized onion and bokchoi.
The bad:
The super small piece of duck foi gras. Even for an entree it was very small. The figs chutney was very tasty.
Located on Duluth street to expect having difficulty finding parking.
The badly burnt rocks of sugar on the vainilla creme Brûlée
The ugly:
The crispy brie entree. Although the crust was nicely crisp and not greesy the cheese inside was VERY cold.
The vainilla creme brûlée is not made with a vainilla pod but rather with vainilla essence.
Wonderful experience. We came here on Wednesday for their Tapas special for $29/person. First off, the presentation for each tapas dish was spectacular. Most of their tapas dishes were very savoury and flavoured to perfection. Our favourites were the beef tartare, the lobster arancini balls, the pork stew and the beef carpaccio. The coconut shrimp was nothing special. The flank steak was quite tough and was one of the more non-exciting plates. Otherwise, the service was great and would come back again!
Great food, A LOT of food. We had the 6 course tasting menu and it started off great, the food was delicious but the courses were pretty much meal size, they were soo large. By the 3rd course we were completely full and felt bad that we couldn't eat anymore. They brought over the duck course as the 4th course and we could only swallow a few bites, we felt bad not being able to eat it but I have no idea why the load up the plates they did. I am happy we did get the foie gras with. Service was great, the restaurant was pretty empty but I would definitely go back and have one item off of the menu, the cod being my favorite of all of the courses.
Dined here with 7 colleagues. OUTSTANDING!! Fantastic wine pairings. Do not miss carpaccio. Had veal. Incredible. Great service to boot.
Great food. We ordered from the $39 menu, and everything was great. When I say great, I mean great. It was utterly the best food I've tasted. We shared within the group, as our selections were different, and everything was amazing.
I will go back for sure.
Wow, realllllllly good food and amazing service. That veal plate is one of the best I've had.
Nice french fusion. Very very nice menu. Very very nice food.
I like their 7 course meal but you must have the time
(3 hours). They also have tapas night.
Highly recommend this place.
Please check out their opening hours as they are often closed on mon and tue.
...presentation of the food was so beautiful that every new course served to my table would always make me unknowingly open my eyes and my mouth.

Most of the food lived up to the hype and may lead to a future visit. The service might have a been a tad slow and cold, but the food is what really shines here.
The service was lovely, food was really good and playful. Prices are really reasonable for the quality.
I'd recommend going here in a group of 3 or more, I didn't particularly get a romantic vibe plus you can get more tapas!
Vertige also has event's frequently from what the waitress said, we went for wine pairing curated by Olympian Alexandre Bilodeau.
Here are 4 out of the 6 courses and 1 pairing in the photos.
There's no parking and the decor is nothing special. this place is all about the food and wine.
I LOVED this place. My boyfriend and I were in town and someone recommended this place to us. We went on a Thursday evening, so we were able to take advantage of their 6 tapas for $29... such a great deal. We each got 6 different tapas and loved it. Of course, the tapas were very small, but I definitely felt full by the end. The escargo was out of this world! I also loved the chicken. Can't wait to go back next year!
In the cute Duluth street, i'm not sure that vertige really specializes in a specific style. The food is strongly classic but well done. Obviously, I noted the very cool wine cork tables, covered with corks of nice producers from around the world with a strong portuguese majority, at least for the one table I was seated at. The wine list is very interesting too! And extremely affordable. All the wines are between let's say 20 and 55$ with a great overall quality for the price. This is a huge advantage. If you go on a warm sunny day, the huge sliding windows might be open for you to enjoy fresh air.
Loved everything we got here. So tasty and everything was beautiful! Atmosphere and service were great too.
We love love love the Tapas menu here ! We've been here several times and must have tried all of the Tapas items, the chicken, pork cheek and salmon tartare are our favorites ! Service is impeccable too, there's usually just one waitress there, Rosie, and she's super attentive and friendly !
Excellent slow meal. We got 6 tapas each for $29 per person, and the waitress was very helpful with the selection for a gluten-free patron (most foods were available gluten free!). Highly recommend the shrimp risotto. Good ambience with an open window-wall overlooking the street. +Music.
