Curtious staff, delicious food. Best crepes ever. !!
We had crepes for meal and then another for dessert. Each bite a slice of heaven. ;))
Cutest Euro-style brunch spot I've been to! I had the Parisien (croissant, butter, baguette, jam, fruit) and my friends tried the Canadien (crepe with egg, ham, bacon served with home fries and fruit). Everyone got tea/coffee with their order and complimentary fresh fruit juice blend (strawberry, banana, and orange I believe). The staff here are all polite, hospitable and attentive - refilling our coffees and water when our cups were empty. Décor artfully adds a little culture to the quaint and cosy atmosphere here which is perfect for either a bright start to your day or a lazy chill weekend hangout.
During our visit to Montreal I knew one thing I definitely wanted to get was a buckwheat crepe. Briezh Cafe came recommended for this and they definitely met my expectations!
I ordered the ham, cheese and egg crepe and a decaf cappuccino. Portions are huge; the crepe was perfectly crispy on the outside and absolutely delicious. The cappuccino was very good too, and service was quick/friendly. All around a great dining experience.
Absolutely delicious food. It's almost unbelievable how great the flavours are! There was nothing that didn't *far* exceed my expectations. All the ingredients taste fresh and very high quality. All accompanied by super friendly and efficient service. I'd eat here everyday if I could.
My husband and I went in search of crepes because that’s what you eat in Montreal, right? The first place had a crazy long wait. The second place was out of crepes (what?!). I’m so glad because this place is a diamond in the rough. My husband and I split a savory crepe and a sweet crepe. The savory crepe was ham, Swiss, mushrooms, with a bechamel sauce. It was terrific!! The sweet crepe had a homemade jam that was to die for. We added almonds, which really leveled it up. The coffee was yummy. We also got a mimosa, which was cider with OJ. My husband liked it but me, not so much. The staff was wonderful. It was such a cute place. I’d highly recommend this place. After you leave, you walk straight down the street and find yourself at the top of St. Catherine to do a little shopping or just walk off the calories because you’ll definitely overstuff yourself on their incredible crepes!!!
Went here for Sunday brunch with a friend. Luckily we got a table before it got super busy. Our crepes were massive since we got a large size but it was so delicious! Could've used some greens or more well presented but nevertheless, it was good. We enjoyed it very much. Service was good, ambience was okay, food was delicious.
My french coworker recommended this crepe place and man was he right! The crepes were so good that I ate two: a flaming one with rum and another sweet banana and chocolate one. We also got a bottle of cider for $17 lol They also have a set dinner menu for $25 that includes a soup, a main plate, and a dessert which includes a crepe too! We forgot to try onion soup but will definitely order next time!
Delicious crepes at great prices. This is a must try if in Montreal. If coming for lunch, I would come here early as there's not a lot of seating and the place can get crowded. It's worth the wait though and the service is great!
