A gem in Montreal! This review is long overdue but I am compelled to write it because we love this place so much. Let me start by saying, when we first tried this place over a year ago, I'd never been to Thailand, nor had I eaten authentic Thai cuisine before (fast food pad thai isn't a very good indicator). My girlfriend, on the other hand, is Thai and knows the flavors inside and out. This IS her comfort food and when we ate here, she was blown away at how they kept to all the authentic flavors. Unapologetically using ingredients like Thai fish sauce, shrimp paste, pla ra, fresh ginger, lots of fresh garlic, galangal, fresh chili, dried chili, lime, cilantro, etc. Ingredients that would knock a person out but are used in such a way that is balanced with sweet/sour/spicy/savory. Pamika had mastered it and isn't afraid to share it. The ingredients she uses and the flavors she creates aren't washed down for the typical North American palate. It's the raw, sharp, tangy, sweet, spicy flavors that you would find all over Thailand. Now fast forward to today. We're in Bangkok and have been traveling SE Asia for the past 11 months and I can say with 100% confidence that Pamika nails it! If you live in Montreal or are there for a visit and want to try exciting Thai flavors, a cool atmosphere, great service, amazing cocktails then you have to try Pamika's. One of the few restaurants in Canada that serves up authentic Thai food.

Don't walk to this restaurant...RUN! My only regret is that I didn't try this place sooner. PHENOMENAL food from start to finish. The first time I tried Pamika's food, I couldn't stop thinking about it for an entire week afterwards. Tonight was my second visit and again I was blown away by the flavours. Without a doubt the best Thai food in Montreal and probably the only authentic Thai restaurant in the city. Not to mention the service is exceptional and the drinks are perfect! Reservations are a must!

The two of us went here last night, to celebrate my birthday and it was a great dinner experience ! We sat on the outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant, in a very cute space. Our server was very welcoming.....like all the other staff....she spoke mostly french but did her best with a little English. The food was delicious, we shared our plates like she suggested we do. The dishes were tasty, some simple, but packed with flavour. We will be returning to this spot for sure, and bringing some friends along, next time to share the experience with. We had the BKK Rolls, Galloping Horse for starters Followed by the Stir-fried dishes - Pork Belly & Chinese Kale and Manpu Fried Rice with Shrimps With the Mango Sticky Rice for desert Happy with our choices Thank you for a great evening .

Tom Kha Kai is exotic, creamy and tangy(in a good way). Tom Yum is also amazingly aromatic and flavorful. My partner loves Pineapple Fried Rice. The only thing is desserts are a bit overpriced, would be great either in a larger portion or at a lower price of around $10. Overall, nice food, nice place, nice staff. Will visit again.

I went there Valentine’s Day weekend and WOW, this place is truly a hidden gem! Apparently they’ve been open for 10 years?!!! When I tell you that everything was absolute perfection!! From the service, the people, the ambiance, the decor, the drinks and of course the food!! My sister had told me to go there especially for the duck salad and obviously it did not disappoint along with everything else we had. The chef was also very accommodating with my egg allergy which was very appreciated! For a first authentic Thai food experience, it did not disappoint. Every single item was delectable! I’ll go back again for sure

The staff is attentive and polite. Beautiful ambience. The food was delish!!! The papaya salad is a bit spicy and tangy, but too good to miss. The Manpu fried rice is a definite must try. Would recommend making a reservation.

This is a little hidden gem in Montreal. Food is tasty and fresh; the duality between sweet & spicy is executed in a symphony of flavours. Inside, the restaurant is warm and cozy. Yes, don’t be afraid of the spiciness of the dishes. They have been elaborated to add taste that pleasantly swirls around your mouth. The staff is friendly and very communicative, ensuring that your experience is up to your expectations. We started with Bangkok rolls, crispy on the outside and savoury on the inside. In addition, note they were fried to perfection and didn't feel oily. We continued with the seafood salad that we finished in a breeze! This was our favourite dish of the evening; it tasted fresh with a splash of tangy to elevate our taste buds. This was followed by the Manpu fried rice, containing a good amount of shrimp. While the dish was good and satisfied our expectations, it didn’t feel as exciting after having the seafood salad. To pursue the evening, we were served the crispy pork. With a spicy degree of 3 out of 4, we expected our taste buds to explode with spiciness. And that wasn’t present, unfortunately. However, it doesn’t take away that we relished this dish fighting on whoever got the last bite. As for the cocktails, we had the Bangkok delight and the Mojithai. The Mojithai is a perfect example of the duality of the tangy and sweet taste this restaurant combines so well. We suggest reserving a spot at the restaurant instead of just showing up. This will provide a better chance for you to get a spot inside this tasty place.

Food’s really tasty, waiter was friendly and full of advices. Menu is short and I think this is a great thing! Lots of love in the dishes. I really enjoyed this disco-funk music in the background!

I used to go to the Sherbrooke Bistro one but it was really hard to get a reservation there, so I was glad they opened a new one even nearer to me. Excellent service and food as good as always. (Absolutely loved the duck salad) A little bit pricey but worth it if you want to try authentic Thai food😍

Great Thai experience. Food was tasty, ambience is cozy, service was fast and efficient, and the bartender was nice enough to cook me up a "Thai" shot (vodka, Soho, and spicy pepper syrup). They will be moving to a bigger location in the coming months. Absolutely reccomend a visit.
