FOOD:
I had ordered the 4 oz. Hero Burger Combo, which included the burger with tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard (all toppings complimentary), along with Sweet Potato Fries, and a Soft Drink of my choosing for $9.49. The burger
was cooked well-done, and had an abundance of toppings placed on it. I noticed that the bun was quite hearty, not too filling however, perfect for the burger. The burger was a bit small as I was still a tad hungry afterwards however, it was delicious nonetheless. The Sweet Potato Fries were delicious; being cut well, and crispy, tasting as though they had just come out of the deep fryer. I LOVED the soft drink machine that they had; there were so many options to choose from, it was difficult to choose just one drink (I had never seen a machine like that except at the CNE). All of the food items were delicious, and it was noticeable that effort had been put into making the items good. One thing I really liked were the ketchup dipping packages, very handy and easy-to-use!
ATMOSPHERE:
When we walked-in on a Sunday evening at around 8:30 pm, we were the only guests present (more guests arrived soon after). The restaurant was quite large, and it was VERY clean, which was impressive. There was music playing on the speaker in the background, and large menus behind the counter which were visually appealing. Their marketing tactics are definitely on the ball as we were completely drawn into the décor and colours surrounding us in the restaurant.
SERVICE:
The cashier whom served us was kind and patient as we made our choices. Once we had placed our orders, the cashier called out our orders into a microphone, which was relayed to the individual in the back making the meals. I found the ordering system to be very effective, relaxing, and professional. I loved how the cashier explained the burger bill to us once our food had arrived, which outlined which burgers belonged to which individual. she definitely knew her stuff!
COST:
4 oz. Hero Burger Solo (Gluten-Free Bun): $5.59 + 4 oz. Hero Burger Combo (With Sweet Potato Fries & Soft Drink): $9.49 + 6 oz. Egg Burger: $8.85 + 6 oz. Hero Burger Solo: $6.59 = $36.75
WOULD YOU RETURN?
Most definitely I would! I found the food to be top-notch, especially when it came to the burgers. I found that the prices were a bit high however, it was well-worth it as the food and service were exceptional.
