Where is pretty authentic, we had their braised meat noodles and the meat was pretty tender and the soup was flavorful. I also really like their tofu brains which is basically soft tofu with sesame paste and a savory sauce. The price is also very reasonable and I would recommend anyone to this place!
Xin Restaurant doesn't look like much, but its dumplings (steamed and fried) are some of the best I've had in Mississauga. The different dumpling dishes each have their own distinct flavour. No matter the stuffing, the dumplings here are juicy, meaty, and the flour skin is thin. Say goodbye to understuffed dumplings, because Xin's Restaurant does dumplings justice.
I've also tried the cumin lamb here, which is aromatic, flavourful, and perfectly spicy. I'll definitely be back for more.
Wonderful place! Me and hubby really love this authentic Chinese restaurant ❤️ They offer northern Chinese cuisine from traditional breakfast to a quick lunch even a decent dinner. Flavorful, diverse menu, healthy fresh ingredients...... we will definitely come back again 😊
Such delicious food! You get plenty when you order, and their eel fried rice is absolutely amazing!
The Xin Resturant is actually has the true taste from the northern chinese. The dumpling is a must to try. You will be amazed how many different types of dumpling are there from the northern chinese cuisine. I also ordered the fish big bowl soup which is very very good. A must try dish.
Ordered takeout. 小笼包 was excellent. Comparable to what you'd find in Shanghai these days. Will definitely order again.
菜肉包 was pretty good too. Some of them got a bit crushed in the takeout container but still very tasty.
生煎包 just seemed to be the regular bao then pan fried, so I won't be getting it again.
The steamed corn buns didn't look like the photo on Uber Eats, but my daughter ate them all and didn't leave me any so I guess they tasted great.
For some reason I couldn't choose Pickup via Uber Eats, and so called them directly to order. They gave us a 10% discount for paying cash so worked out great.
All in all, great food for a great price. Will be back to try more of their cooking.
