This is a really nice place to gave Dosas. They have a wide variety of Dosas and all of them are delicious. So far we have tried the Spring Onion Dosa, Mysore Masala, Rava Masala, Kanchipuram Kara Dosa and Chettinadu, Gongura varieties.
The Gongura Dosa was a bit too sour but i have never had this variety before, so I guess this is Authentic.
The chutneys and Sambar that accompany the dosas are wonderful and resemble the taste back in India.
The servers are really polite and suggest the good stuff.
The Restaurant has only flaw wherein the Shared parking is a bit stuffy and smelly.
Overall the restaurant gives you wonderful treatment every time and serves you good and authentic food. Have been here multiple times and will continue to come back every time i crave for Dosa.
Would also love to try their other varieties next time.
Amazing place with full of South Indian vegetarian food. Ordered South-Indian thali that was amazing in taste. Then ordered Chilli Cheese Masala Dosa and Garlic Mysore Masala Dosa both were hot and amazing in taste. Service was quick and ambience was good. Overall an amazing experience.
Food 5/5
Staff 5/5
Ambience 5/5
We went to the place on Friday evening post office .
The staff is very humble .
They serve variety of stuff .
We ordered Mysore masala dosa , chole bhautra and chai .
The chai is another level , too good . Other dishes were also good ..
I think this place is must to give a try.
Thank you
One of the nice South Indian restaurant I have visited in GTA. I had chance to eat thali. It was awesome. Recommend their thali, vada somber, idli and dosa.
If you miss India and Mumbai street food then this is the place to visit! Right from the wadas to the bhajiyas and dosas and the chutneys and even the pav bhaji, the food here is closest to Mumbai food than any other restaurant I tried in Toronto/GTA. They have a vast menu with other south Indian food as well. It is reasonably priced and the servers are very polite. Must visit!
Great place for South Indian food in GTA! Though I live in downtown Toronto, I visit this place at least once a month when I miss India. The food is amazing and totally worth the travel.
Went here for a few occasions. Once to order a la Carte and another for their buffet. Both times were good tasting food.
Buffet food runs out quickly, and the staff try very hard to replenish the items, so it’s not bad if you have little patience to wait.
Quality of the food is good and not too oily. Worth a recommendation if you like authentic. South Indian food. My favs were bissebhala bhaat and their dosas.
Great place for South Indian food, when they are open, that is! Convenient location with free parking is a big plus. Food is delicious and authentic. Their South Indian thali is very good. Ambience is decent, service is good too. Servers don't smile, usually grumpy but the food makes up for this minus. Idlis, dosas are good too. Recommend this restaurant.
Nice place to have south Indian food in mississauga. Ordered a Thali, masala dosa, idlli and filter coffee. All tasted very good and authentic. A must visit place.
AWESOME PLACE WITH AWESOME FOOD BUT... it is almost always crowded. On a busy day you might have to wait to be seated. But again its busy because its famous and its famous for its delicious mouthwatering food and huge varieties of dosa. The food is worth that wait.
You can also call in and reserve a table but DON'T RELY ON RESERVATIONS. (Both times I reserved the table they apologized and said it has been given to people who were waiting there, even though i was there on time) but that doesn't qualify for taking out a star from the rating. Because delicious food is worth the wait. The place is not that big.
Also try the very innovative 'gadbad' dessert. Why is it called gadbad you will know once you try it.
PLEASE CHECK TIMINGS BEFORE YOU GO HERE. And avoid going at the edge of closing time. You might have to return back empty stomach. Give roughly about 10-15 mins to be seated.
DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING UNDERGROUND. Its free for restaurant visitors provided you register your plate number at front desk.
Happy Eating. Thanks.
Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. Extremely busy but very organized as we went on mother's day. Had a 20 minutes wait but was totally worth as we strolled to the nearby Kariya park. Food was very fresh and delicious. Definitely a go to place for good south Indian food.
This place is good if you want to taste South Indian cuisine. Gadbad ice cream is a must try, though not as good as the one we have in India but close enough. Overall good food and great ambiance.
Went to this place after a very very long time. Firstly be prepared with your vaccination passport and ID.
We ordered a thali which was amazing in taste and worth the price in every way.
Then we ordered Chettinad dosa thinking it would be spicy but we were disappointed and thirdly was the tava masala dosa- the potato filling was not good at all but the dosa was nice and crunchy.
Service was really slow.. ambiance was probably a 5/10. Cleanliness 6/10. price point of view was average
Heard a lot about this place and finally managed to dine in after 4 years of hearing about it.
Can’t say I was disappointed with all the hype and wait.
Food was good and the service was impeccable, attentive and helpful.
Came all the way from downtown Toronto in a rental car to eat here.
But was seconds go, maybe I won’t make that effort to come back.
Don’t get me wrong, food was good, but there was nothing spectacular.
A place for good authentic South Indian cuisine in Mississauga, close the Square One .
Amply parking below the establishment.
The breakfast brunch is a good deal for $13 but they close that by 11:30 latest. Sometimes by 11 am.
Pongal wasn’t the best I’ve eaten, but the dosas were fantastic.
Tomato chutney was excellent.
Sambhar was pretty good too.
If you are near square one Mississauga, and wanted to have Dosa and some desert then this is your place. Good in your pocket too. Good variety of dosa. Quality is good to. I visited in Dec 21. Food , service is good. Only one thing I didn’t like is staff don’t have good communication between each other. Senior staff is not helping to junior staff ( newly hired). That part I don’t like.
