We came for Mother's Day this past Sunday. Out of the 6 of us we all had something different from the menu and we were all pretty impressed. My favourite was the Polski Benedict. It was a busy day as expected but food came out fresh and hot. The staff were kind and super helpful. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Clarkson mississauga. Will come back next time for the chicken and waffles ;)
I want to try everything on the menu! So far, I've only tried 3 dishes! The Islander, chicken n' waffles, and the Polski Benedict with pemeal bacon. My favourite so far is chicken n' waffles! Crispy chicken, seasoned perfectly, with jalapeño waffles (just the right amount of heat) and bacon! Mmmmm bacon!!!!!!!!!
Found this spot for brunch. Made the mistake of not making reservations. We had a wait time of about 25 minutes. Once we were seated our waitress almost immediately came to take our drink orders. We started off with around a coffee and cappuccino. The cappuccino comes with a little delicious wafer!
For our mains we tried a few different items. My top two favourites were the chicken and waffles and the veggie burger. Both of these were so delicious!!
We also tried the Polski Benny, Chilaquilas and tacos. The jackfruit tacos were the only one I was a little disappointed with. There wasn’t enough filling in the taco and it was kinda dry without any dressing or sauces.
Overall the service was excellent, our waitress was amazing and so patient. Would love to visit again!
Really yummy food. Coffee is nice and strong and they have a great selection of beverages (lots of lattes).
Menu is great and modern. Portions are awesome and you will leave nice and full. The prices are super fair and the food quality is superb.
Waitstaff is nice and friendly.
Great brunch location. The place is a little small so on weekends expect a little wait. The food come extremely well plated and delicious! I ordered the pancakes that were topped with fruits and powdered sugar. The pancakes were super fluffy. I also ordered the empanadas which were served on a hot plate. So delicious! Can't wait to go back! One word of advice, change the candy in the front lol those were gross. Oh and a shoutout to Ron for an efficient and quick serving!
Without a doubt, the best chicken and waffles in GTA. Other places put some measly chicken strips on top and call it chicken and waffles. No my friend, here, it is a masterpiece of crunchy fried chicken, thick hearty waffles, topped with a side of bacon dressing which you can portion yourself. Iced coffee is very refreshing and comes with a cute candy cane straw, which in my opinion goes well with the vibe of the place. Did I mention service is amazing? Well ya, it's amazing too.
Nice weekend brunch, there was a fair amount of people when we went at 2pm. The food took about half an hour to arrive, not the fastest service but acceptable. We got the chicken n' waffles which were amazing - delicious tender fried chicken and I really liked the bacon jalapeno flavoured waffle. The biscuits n' gravy came with eggs and home fries. The gravy was quite unique - a white sausage gravy which was well flavoured. However, I could tell the biscuit & gravy had cooled down compared to the eggs which were nice and hot, seems like they were made first and sat around for a while. Would have preferred to have warm gravy and a hot toasted biscuit instead.
Not only it's the best breakfast/brunch restaurant I've tired in Mississauga, but even amongst the best in GTA I'd say.
First off, place is not large and you might need to wait to be seated at busy days, but probably you don't have to wait too long. Decor and atmosphere is modern and cozy enough to let you think you're not at a restaurant but rather a nice renovated living room, bunch of light from large front windows.
And the food. Kravingz do not just settle in usual brunch options, they have very distinctive dishes, for example Mexican style chicken tortilla beans, which reminds me of burrito bowls (but not actual burrito bowls). And they have usual burgers and omelets for you to choose. Tate is surprisingly fresh and well.
Recommended and I definitely will revisit.
Stumbled upon this place because we happened to be in the area. SO GOOD. Got the basic breakfast, with 3 eggs over easy, bacon AND sausage (love when I don't have to choose), hash browns, fruit and rye toast. I literally have no complaints at all and loved my meal. The hash browns were cut into small pieces and every single bite was crispy. The fruit was fresh and really good (often the fruit on these breakfast plates is just an afterthought). The eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks looked really fresh as well. The ambiance of the place is like someone's country kitchen, which was nice and cozy. Best of all, prices were super reasonable. I might actually make the trip over to Mississauga just to come here!
