Driving into town after midnight searching the highway for a place to rest before continuing across Canada. While online trying to find a hotel with vacancy what felt in the middle of nowhere... we came across a long detailed review of a traveler & their experience of logging in a motel with metal sculptures around the place. This review shared their excitement of the Back Home Bistro restaurant across the street. We decided it was the place to stop. Breakfast was amazing & delivered with fine dining presentation. The menu was of season with delicious choices, it was hard to choose which to order. The owner & staff are welcoming & so kind. Open to making any special diet changes needed to be sure we were leaving with our bellies full & smiles on our faces. It's name says it all, after the owner shared her story of returning & opening the restaurant with her family. What a pleasure to have come across this experience & a breakfast we will never forget. Looking forward to visiting again on our way through.

This place had awesome food and the service was fabulous! We stumbled upon and were so glad that we did! We would certainly return the next time we are in town. Thanks for handling three rambunctious kids so well - the colouring books upon seating, the drinks in cups with lids without even needing to ask, all of it! Simply delicious food! HIghly recommend!
