Was looking for some Chinese fastfood but authentic Chinese fast food and not something you would get in Eaton Centre. I was impressed with this stall. The noodles was home made and fresh. There was an individual forming the dough of the noodles. Everything was very affordable. Should check it out if you are on a budget.
My usual place with my wife when it comes to Lazy Sunday and dont wanna cook day , the pulled noodle with spicy minced pork is my fav out there... just cant get enough of this place and its price is just fabulous ...
I love how they pull their own noodles here.
My friend and I shared the pan fried pork dumplings and #17 on menu.
The pan fried pork dumplings were really good. I also really enjoyed the flavour of the broth that came with the noodles. The only problem was the chicken. It was virtually tasteless unseasoned chicken by itself but once added to the broth it was a bit more flavourful.
Sun’s Kitchen is a small food court booth on the second floor of Pacific Mall and specializes in hand pulled noodles. The chef pulls each bowl to order and the loud banging of dough attracts many spectators. When I first started my search for hand pulled noodles in Toronto, Sun’s Kitchen was one of the only results. Many Chinese restaurants had them on their menu, but few were specialized noodle shops. I had high hopes of Sun’s Kitchen.
One of the reliable highest quality gems which always creates ultra fresh hand pulled noodles and other Chinese dishes. Their broth is to die for!
Noodles were very fresh and tasty. I recommend the spicy pork on noodles.
First visit. What a great deal. A show on how to make fresh noodles and a tasty meal. The noodles are definitely fresh and at a reasonable price. The food court could be bigger and better but I'm not here for ambiance, more for convenience. The freshness if the noodle dough permeates through the soup but in a flourly way. 75%
Fresh and delicious. I know everyone is caught up in this ramen craze in the downtown area, however, if you ever get a chance to head up to pacific mall, definitely check out this place for noodles. It is one of, if not THE, best noodle places found around the GTA. I've eaten at Kenzo and Kinton because I love noodles and they can never compare to that of Sun's Kitchen. Don't let the food court status fool you!!! The noodles are fresh (one could watch the noodles being made in front of them), and chewy (but not too gummy). One of my ultimate favourite's is the dan dan mein - good spiciness and peanut flavour. Go check it out!!!
Best noodles in the GTA!. I truly believe that these noodles are the best in the GTA. I live 2.5 hours away from this place and yet I would consider myself a regular. I have actually driven to the city for the weekend just to have the Dan Dan noodle soup and the flaky green onion pancake (both of which are made to order, with the noodles pulled by hand, in front of the watching crowd)!
