Loved the Lunch Buffet, went with the Project team. I was a bit curious as I am a pure vegetarian and I doubted initially whether I would be getting something veggies to eat. But with my team's confirmation, we went and didn't get disappointed too..
There were plenty of veg / non veg options available and the waiters were available to help you in case you find difficulty in searching or recognising few foods.

PS. Don't forget to click ur photo once you had ur food in front of the red giant dragon just in the entrance door of the restaurant.! šš
Loved the lunch buffet at dragon legend. By far the best Chinese buffet with a great variety of salads, sushi, desserts etc. Definitely try the Hawaiian sushi if you are here though everything else is equally good. The ambiance and the staff and the food make for a memorable lunch that you won't forget for a long time!
At the company that I work for, we normally hire a lot of co-op students from Toronto universities. Today, we celebrate the end of their work term by treating them to a lunch. Based on a many constraints (location, pricing, food options, preparation), I decided to treat the students to Dragon Legend Buffet due to spacious seating (200+) and food quality.
It wasn't that impressive when it just opened, in terms of food selection. But recently I went there for Mother's Day after a long time and wow was I impressed. The food selection changed a lot, there is just so much in offering. Great environment. Will have to reserve early because it's very busy. Will go again.
I have done a blog post back in 2014, but have been to Dragon Legend at least 5 times since. Some menu items and the pricing has changed, so itās time for an update. I bumped up the rating since the food has been consistent in terms of quality and selection, however their price had increased from 2014.
Bian Lian or face changing is an ancient Chinese dramatic art. It is truly something to behold and is part of the rich cultural experience a guest at Dragon Legend can expect. Performances take place every Wednesday evening starting at 6:45 p.m.

Great Selection of Food ..Loved the Peking DUCK and its far better than MandarinĀ
Love the Place .
1. Quality
2. Variety of SpreadĀ
3. Great Ambiance
However always its always busy busy which is good
What a great find! Dragon Legend has a great selection with an emphasis on QUALITY.
My jaw dropped when I saw their mountain of crab legs.
The thing is I love seafood, but I'm easily creeped out by it. If my shrimp hasn't been deveined, there is no way I'm eating it. However the seafood at Dragon Legend was amazing!
Their Peking Duck was also really tasty. Mind you, it was no where near Peking Man's level, but it hit the spot. I unfortunately wasn't a fan of their hoisin sauce. It was too acidic and sugary.
They also had a great selection of sashimi and rolls. When you ask for sashimi, the man serving it to you gives you 4 pieces! Whoa! He was also really friendly.
Dragon Legend is a little more expensive than good ol' DP but I'm willing to pay the price difference.
Their other dishes were also really tasty. Since I never cook with salt, I'm quite sensitive to it. However, none of the food here was overly salted. Pretty much everyone in town comes to this delightful find, and the food was consistently hot and fresh.
Their desserts were the weakest link. My green tea ice cream was decent but my mother's strawberry ice cream was chalk full of artificial flavours and red dye...yikes.
Our waitress was polite and attentive. At 32.99 per person, I say it's definitely worth it.
Great Peking duck for all you can eat. The sashimi selection gave generous portions and the steak to order was very tender and medium rare. Ā The fried and grilled oysters were a nice bonus! I would suggest coming here for dinner if you would like to experience a higher end chinese buffet. Ā The service was pretty attentive as well
Dragon legend is a more upscale Chinese buffet. The interior looks very grand.
The food selection is diverse. There is fresh sashimi where an employee passes it out so you have to go back multiple times if you want more.
They also have people serving peking duck as well! I saw a chef making noodles which was quite impressive. There was also soup that was in individual porcelain jars, and every time a new batch came out, it would disappear in minutes.
The food was good and there is plenty of dissent choices I would recommend it for a special event. Otherwise, it can be quite pricy for a normal dinner, especially if you go on the weekend.

Very exquisite and elegant Chinese buffet style restaurant. I couldnāt enjoy everything because Iām allergic to see food, but for seafood lovers, this place would look like heaven to them. I enjoyed the PekĆn Duck, as well as sushi, rolls, seaweed with vegetables, and so many delicatessen they had to try. And it wasnāt only the food. The decor and ambiance was gorgeous too!
I came here for lunch buffet some time back as this was one of the most affordable fusion buffet around. Fusion buffet because there is a mix of Chinese food and Japanese food. The decor is very extravagant and the washrooms are gorgeous and sparkling clean which is very important for us to wash our hands properly, comfortably and responsibly.
Well, are buffets safe during this pandemic? I think the answer is a yes at Dragon Legend as they do provide single use plastic gloves for you to handle anything that is commonly shared such as ladles or scoops at the food stations and you are reminded to wear your mask when walking around to get your food, which is something really rare in the west side of the world. Hygiene standards are high and place is clean, the staff also comes around to collect your dirty plates pretty often so you don't have plates stacking at your table.
Most importantly, how's the food? I would say the food is very good for the price paid. Kids below a certain age only pay CAD3.99 so do declare your child's age when dining there. There was a live station which served roast duck in "crepe" and the roast duck was really nice, the only problem was that the customers soon found out that the roast duck was really good and many people queued there or grabbed more for their table, which is totally fine. They eventually made sure to fulfil most of the needs of the customers and came back with more though it took some time. They has sashimi, hot foods, fried foods, soups, noodle station that made the noodles fresh on ordering.
This place has a wonderful buffet at a reasonable price, only thing is that if you are not in Markham, it is rather off the way. Hope they will survive well with the Omicron strain causing the infection to surge.
Good variety overall, solid selection of grill, sushi, and dessert. Loved the fresh noodle soup bar. Peking duck quality is alright, but can't complain for a buffet. I went for family day and we each received a half lobster for free.
Solid 4.5 stars
I went here for a birthday party, the food here was decent, there a bit of selection of food however what I was excited most about was the pecking duck. The pecking duck was okay, it wasn't the best quality but was good enough for a buffet, this is where most of my stomach space went to. The sushi selection was decent for a buffet, my salmon sashimi had some bones in them, small ones, but the taste was very similar to salmon sashimi from sushi restaurants. There were quite a bit of mussels each prepared differently, I am a fan of seafood so I got a few of those, the cheese mussels wasn't that great because the cheese wasn't melted well. The roast beef was pretty good, I enjoyed it, I could tell that the mash potato was from an instant mash potato pack, but it tasted okay together with the roast beef. This time, I was unable to take pictures or eat their desserts, but from my past visits, their dessert selection was pretty solid as well. There's a lot of parking space in the parking lot so there won't be an issue with finding a parking spot. Overall what I enjoyed most was the pecking duck, since not many buffet offer such a thing. I would go here again just for the fact that they offer pecking duck at a buffet.
Great selection of food such as Peking duck, sushi and sashimi, assortment of fried foods such as squid, chicken wings, and even grilled mochi! As well as pork buns and various soups like hot and sour and wonton. Dessert is ice cream like vanilla and birthday cake and various jellies like black sesame and orange. Overall definitely worth the trip!
Solid 4.5! Pleasantly surpassed my expectations on the taste and variety of food. Definitely one of the best Chinese buffets Iāve been to. We went during lunch on a weekday which was around $23-24 a person.
Highlights:
- Peking duck wraps: the wrapper was a bit thick but the duck was roasted well with a delicious sauce, cucumber sticks, and green onions
- Beef knife-cut noodle soup: very tender beef and flavourful broth
- Ginseng goji chicken soup: warm and rich flavour, not too salty
- Grilled oyster mushroom
- Stir fry cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, and fungi
- Fresh prawn with cocktail sauce
- Mussel stir fry in black bean sauce
- Veggie roll: seaweed, daikon, carrots
- Mango salad
- Thin crispy scallion pancakes
- Grilled lemongrass chicken
- Roasted yellow sweet potato
- The matcha and tiramisu cake was surprisingly moist and not too sweet!
- Wide selection of ice cream: I recommend matcha, mango, and cappuccino
Meh:
- Sushi: not a wide selection and too much rice
- Stir fry noodles, fried rice, spring roll, general tso: tastes average
- Dim sum (shrimp dumpling, shumai, baozi): not bad, exactly like what you would expect
- Sesame ball, dense and not much filling
Came here for a wedding on a Thursday night and we were so surprised that they serves a delicacy like frog legs!
Dishes were fresh and constantly being refilled. They also gave out coupons for a generously sized abalone and prawn that night (1 per person).
Best Chinese buffet!
Authentic Chinese cooking. Good selection from meat, fish, sushi, fruits, soup, veggies and desserts. Missed the peking duck for lunch. Great dining atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Offers 20% seniors discounts. I highly recommend.
