Legendary! I haven’t been here in a while but I knew what to expect, and they delivered. Sammy’s is an institution in London. Fresh ingredients, friendly service. Just look at the picture, Greek masterpiece.
Tzatziki sauce though … 🤯🔥
Sammy’s is one of the best dining options in London for takeout. If you haven’t been here, stop what you’re doing and make sure you’re hungry. They won’t disappoint!! Certified 💯

I stopped there for a lunch. It was very good food. I usually don't eat out and when I do I hope for something better than frozen hamburger patties flipped by people that don't even eat meat. This place is genuine, they cook it onsite and are pleasant people to deal with.Will go back for sure.
It's been 20 YEARS since I had Sammy's, but today was the day, and IT WAS SO WORTH IT! The chicken souvlaki on a pita was as good as ever--that seasoning is the boss! The poutine was decadent and gooey. If only I could come back more often. Keep 'em grilling for me, Sammy's, and I'll be back!
Sammy's has an awesome menu but did you know they sell tzatziki sauce to go? You get a large container for about $8. You can't make this at home for that price (or as good as Sammy's does.....).
Authentic Greek food and super friendly service. Debit is offered, free parking and plenty of picknic tables. All ingredients are fresh and top notch.
Awesome little souvlaki roadside stop. Couple picnic tables. They have other stuff like fish and chips and hotdogs
It's a nice place to chill with good food and friends.
This was my first time trying greek food and i was immensely pleased.
Service was fast but it is takeout only. There are few benches around where you can sit and eat.
The chicken souvlaki was perfectly roasted and moist.
The ONION RINGS are a must here.
Also they have a cute cat roaming around in front of the restaurant
Sammy's Souvlaki may seem like just another chip wagon from the road..however..its not. Your going to receive a fine Gyro..Fish and chips or onion rings with only fresh ingredients. Peeps in London drive from all round to have a rib stickin snack or meal at Sammy's. With a solid customer base they try hard to make sure your Sammy's experience is one that will keep you coming back for more. Sammy souvlaki...a staple of east london, festivals and the fair. Never dissatisfied with the gyro or souvlaki. Meat is seasoned nice with oregano, garlic marinated in lemon juice and olive oil. Mouthwatering for sure. Let's not forget the extra feta, tzatziki sauce and the fresh crispy vegetables. Yummm! But dont take my word for it, go on get some for yourself. Oh and the massive poutine with hoards of gravy and cheese, perfect late night snack
