Found this restaurant by chance. Such a good find as the food was delicious. The mushroom risotto was perfect as well as the chicken parm. The salmon in my salmon risotto was a little well done to my liking but the dish was still great. Apps were very fresh and the carrot cake is an absolute must. Best carrot cake, perfectly moist and light. The portions in general is also very generous! Lastly the service was a bit slow. Servers mostly avoid eye contact and took about 15 minutes for us to try and get the bill.
Italian restaurants never disappoint, and there is one that I just keep putting off (Bocconcini). Today, I chose to end my procrastination.
After ordering, they quickly brought me complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I could tell it had just came out of the oven.
My first dish was a balsamic tomato bruschetta infused with garlic. They served it with house baked bread and goat cheese. I was astounded by the size of it— six slices of bread to go with plenty of topping.
I then enjoyed two amazing entrees. First was the Lobster Ravioli. This was ravioli filled with lobster and shrimp covered in a creamy garlic sweet pea sauce. My other entree was a chicken and mushroom risotto, topped with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
It boasts a sleek, refined dining room that enhances the food they serve.
It is a fantastic option for business dinners, anniversaries, or a sophisticated birthday. Bocconcini ranks high on my list and has earned its prestige.
Absolutely delicious!
Our server Emma was so friendly and knowledgeable on the menu! Some great tips on food recommendations and they did not disappoint! Everything was so yummy!
It was also so great to see the owner out helping out serving tables and seating guests! For a Monday night the restaurant was packed but we never felt forgotten about and all the staff were very attentive! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Italian dinner!
