Recently reopened under new management, this place now features a menu of authentic uighur cuisine from Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
Tried the lamb soup, spicy chicken stew with noodles and potatoes, and lamb dumplings. Everything was good. Recommended.
Of note: noodles are freshly made using the traditional hand pulling method.
Will return to try the lamb kebabs next time.
This place is a hidden gem in London. Went there with my husband and brother in law. Ordered Korma Lagman, Chicken Kordak, Chuchura, Lamb Kebab and Empadas. Everything was just amazing. Very unique and exotic flavors. A nice break from ubiquitous Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and South Asian food. Owners are a very friendly couple who also prepare and serve the food. They also shared very interesting information about Uighur food and tradition. Everything is Halal.
The food is fantastic and unique and really are delicious. The place is clean, and has good ambiance. The service is great and the staff are welcoming and gracious to respond to their customers.
Our first time trying Uighur cuisine and it definitely won’t be our last. Restaurant is simple and unpretentious but spacious and clean. We visited on a Saturday evening and the owners came out to greet us. Lovely couple who take pride in their cuisine and business. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and flavourful. Prices are very reasonable as well.
We ordered a dumpling soup, a Lamb Shank with broth and a Korma Lagman. They gave us the VIP Lagman by error and offered to the correct order. Because it was our first time trying the cuisine, we didn’t bother sending it back and by then we had figured out we will enjoy whatever came out of that kitchen.
Portions are generous and we left with happy bellies. If you’re in London, you gotta to eat here!
If you are looking for authentic food, I recommend this restaurant. They have the best home made noodles ever. They are friendly people and dinning place is good. The chef is so nice and his recommendations of food are on point.
Amazing food, everything was made fresh and from scratch. Portion is very generous. It's not fast food so food could take a while to serve but it's definitely worth the wait.
Came in for dinner with family and were blown away by their hospitality and food! This is a hidden gem in the area of London ON
I'm so glad that they were open. We ordered VIP Laghman and chuchur soup and it was really delicious!
Had the chicken kordak and was one of the best dishes of my life! Handmade noodles, are you kidding me!? This place is unique and amazing!!!
I would say one of the best Halal restaurant in town. I have tried almost everything there and can say confidently that they are best in their taste, hospitality and quick service. This place is going to be a permanent place to eat for my family. My husband loves their lamb shank broth with rice and me and children loves different kinds of noodles. They do have a good variety, try their samsa and manta, they are the best dumplings i ever tasted. The couple who runs that place are always smiley and greet you well.
Simply loved this place.
Food was quite good, but the pricing is a little high. We got the family kebab meal. This came with a large tray of meat varieties like chicken, lamb, goat and beef. I really liked the meat quality. It was fresh and marinated well. It also came with a tray of rice and a tray of salad. There was a large quantity of food, however, I think there should have been more meat on the tray for the amount paid. Dining experience could be improved for the amount being paid. Felt more like a self-serve fast food. Owner was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, had a good experience. We ate to our full and would come again sometime in the future.
