The best breakfast diner in London!
It actually took us many months to move our butts and set foot in this place, and the whopping reviews shouting out for this place weren't exaggerating it. We were completely blown away by the sheer simplicity and the delicious food they serve and the way they do it. If you are having a lazy sunday, this is the place to be in.
We ordered
Eggs Benny with Veggies: Hit the bullseye! Just loved it. The home fries were fantabulous. 5/5
French Toast: Couldn't get enough of it. 5/5
Pancakes: Surprisingly huge, soft and delicious. You could have them as is, or with butter or with a spread of jams available on the table. Tried almost all of them and the pancakes went good with everything. 5/5
Coffee was freshly brewed. Couldn't ask for better.
Special shout out to Ariti who waited on our table. She was delightful and made our day better.
Even though my days in London are numbered, I will definitely return to this gem of a place.
Small diner, nothing fancy. Had Shawn's poutine - delicious! Hollandaise, potatoes, cheese, gravy - mouthwatering combination. My partner who had a traditional breakfast said it was better than a chain restaurant's. When in London, this is my spot!
This place has been around since 1957 and I have only just now visited for a meal. Small unassuming place with retro seating and music.Best to go when students are away as it is very crowded otherwise and even has lineups to get in on the weekends. Sunday early morning best time to go as parking is free.
Waitress was friendly and efficient and almost huggable. I had the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries while partner had the same substituting gyros for bacon. Home fries were truly hand made while rest of meal was hot and well prepared,
Price was right, meals efficient, and the coffee deliciously fresh. Would not hesitate returning.
