Excellent roti! Delicious flavors, with your choice of heat level. Size portions are HUGE. One order can definitely be shared, still leaving you full and satisfied after! My personal favorite is their goat roti(yummm!)
The place is just simple and small...almost like a secret (that you happily uncovered). The guy there is friendly and open.
First heard raves of their roti during Sunfest season, but,by the time we get there...they'd sold out. So that speaks volumes.
Thank heaven for Sunfest Festival in London with almost 300 vendors including 100 food booths. The quarter million who attend come for the music and or the food. We came for both and were grateful for what we received.
I ordered the beef Roti and a double vegetable starter. Both were significant in size related to cost and very good. The serving staff were engaging and friendly. Would recommend.
I had a chicken roti for the first time ever and it was DELICIOUS. I will go back for sure very soon. The owner/chef is a great guy with an outgoing personality. I wish I had found this place sooner.
Big portions for roti. The restaurant has lots of seating and great service. This is a good spot to grab lunch downtown. The access isn't great because it's inside an office building.
So I just got back from Grenada and was missing the Caribbean food but I found the taste of the Caribbean right here in London at the Trini Man Kitchen. There is something about Caribbean food that has got a hold of me. Besides the ocean and the beach I think the food is the thing I look forward to the most when traveling to the Islands (well maybe that and a cold Carib). Everything down there is so fresh and in season and local. One thing we could learn from them is to treat our own local area like an island and source our meals locally but that's another article for another day. About a week after my return from Grenada I was jonesing for something to take me back to here:
Some of the best doubled I have ever tasted! Awesome food!!
A very refreshing change to the mundane, standard fare at most lunch restaurants. The T&T flavors creep into every dish - making soups and everything a bit more flavorful.
Excellent Roti. We had Chicken Roti and Vegetarian Roti, and they were fantastic. Excellent flavours.
Thank you for such a fresh and delicious meal!! We ordered goat roti and jerk chicken with bean rice and coleslaw (has raisins and apples 🍎!) The roti was amazing, spicy. Jerk chicken was juicy and tender. Coming back very soon!
What a great find! Tasty trinidadian food friendly owner and very clean!
The portions are huge and very fresh.
Don't miss this for take out or eat in.
Triniman Kitchen is the best place in London to get Trini food. I migrated to Canada after 35 years in Trinidad and this is Trini food at its finest.
Triniman Kitchen this place is a hidden gem followed by years of experience in fresh Roti making you can taste the difference..they Can count on us coming back.. quaint little place tricky to find it first but as we sat down people just kept coming in. They've taken the taste from Jamaica and brought it to London on the corner of Richmond and Piccadilly ..
Very clean place , including the restrooms. The owner (pictured) is very friendly and also the chef. The veggie roti has curried potato, channa, pumpkin, spinach and tamarind- totally awesome flavour combination! Also tried the doubles which were different from any others I've ever had: he adds some chopped cucumber and tamarind to the regular channa and barra staple. This is the only Caribbean restaurant in London featuring Trinidad food. We went out of our way to get here and are very glad we did.
Had the doubles and they were really good (rell bess, for the Trinis). The place is hidden in the bottom of a building but it is really clean and confortable. The owner, Joseph, is super nice!
Amazing food. Best Doubles I have ever had. Great service. Well priced. My new favourite place on Richmond!
The food here is awesome. I am now a fan of Trinidad food ... I've had the Roti and the Doubles and Stew Chicken ... and the soups are homemade and so delicious. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Joseph, the owner is very outgoing and friendly. You can tell he is passionate about cooking.
What can I say... moving from a big city where an abundance of great West Indian foods are accessible, out here they’re scarce. But I came across this shop when I was craving some Roti... and WOW! I love my spicy food and Joseph did not disappoint! The Roti was made in shop and the chicken was moist and tasty. I couldn’t help but order takeout to take home to the wife. Love the food and the friendly atmosphere this place brings. And Joseph is such a great guy, what’s not to love!
See you again soon!!!
Excellent customer service and great food!
The owner Joseph is super friendly with a great sense of humour, the food is fantastic with the right amount of spices. Super clean environment and preparation area seemed very well maintained. A true down to earth Caribbean feel and a great location, parking is very convenient.
Definitely recommend!
