The wings are great here. The delivery some times takes a while but it’s worth the wait. Staff are truthful about wait times when you order so that is nice
So...I go in, and order 3 lbs of wings. Hot honey, and teriyaki...never been to this place in my life. The gal at till said the wings were the best in southern Alberta. After eating the wings, I must say I agree. You want wings? Look no further. Tons of flavour, amazing breading on the wings.
20170822 After moved to the City of Lethbridge, our first lunch was at The Legendary Wing King. The Legendary Wing King is a super small store, sells Chicken Wings and some other snacks, which is located on Mayor Magrath Dr. Lethbridge. The store is very small, so I highly suggest people order the food and take to go. The environment is very cute and clean. You can read the menu on the wall. The servers are friendly and helpful. This place is famous for its Chicken Wings. Their chicken wings are very fresh. There are two different types of wings wet and dry with lots of flavours. In addition, you can also get some sides with the wings, such as sweet potato fries, 3 cheese perogies, chili garlic tater bites, nacho cheese stix, and etc. Besides that, this place also sells a different kind of ICE Creams. We went to The Legendary Wing King around lunch time. We've ordered 1 pound each Honey Garlic and Sweet Chili Heat wet chicken wings. The Chicken Wings came 20mins after the ordered. The Honey Garlic wings taste as normal but fresh. The Sweet Chili Heat wings are super awesome. They tasted a little bit sweet and spicy. I love the sweet chili heat flavour so much. The prices of wings are a little bit expensive: 1/2 pound $8.99 with fries, 1 pound $12.99 add fries for $1.89, 1.5 pounds $17.99 .... The more you buy, the cheap prices that you can get. If you come and visit the City of Lethbridge, you should definitely go having some chicken wings at The Legendary Wing King.
The garlic pepper wings are so so good been here twice in the last 2 weeks cannot get enough of them. The wings seem a bit pricey 1 1/2 pound $17.99 but for the quality will spend some extra doe to get them again & again thinking of them right now.
Not bad. Lethbridge needed a wing place. This one's ok
Great wings!. My family and I ordered 1 lb of honey garlic wings that I thought were delicious, 1 lb of hot wings that I thought were a little sweet, but still delicious, and 1 lb of salt and pepper wings that were probably my favorite. They were seasoned perfectly. There were plenty of really good sized wings in each flavor. The leftovers were still really good cold. They were a bit pricey but I would pay it again for that quality of wings. If you want cheap wings, go to Mojo's or Pops on wing night, but you will get what you pay for!
Dry wings are good. I have always preferred crispy wings with dry seasoning, and I think they do that pretty well. Prices are a bit high but the wings are big and meaty. Only once did I have a not-so-great experience when they did not season the wings enough. I do like it once in a while when I am craving for some wings.
Big Fan of S&P Wings and Coleslaw. I'm a guy that prefers dry wings over sloppy wet wings. I have tried all of the dry flavours at Wing King and they are all good, but I still prefer the basic Salt and Pepper. The S&P wings at Wing King are the best wings I have ever had anywhere. Lots of juicy meat and a great crispy crust. Just some delicious fried chicken. Lately I have been going back every week or two for lunch.
I should also mention that their coleslaw is a great side to the salt and pepper wings. The coleslaw has the perfect amount of sweetness and really compliments the flavour of the chicken. Makes for a great lunch!
