I love this restaurant. Best oven pizza in Laval. Authentic italian food, pasta of the day are also amazing. Family atmosphere, great service.
We started with a ton of appetizers, our favourite is always the bacio; little balls of dough are stuffed with prosciutto cotto, mushrooms, ricotta and mozzarella to make bite size calzone style pizza bites. It’s our favourite appetizer at Bottega, and they are sold individually so you can order as many as you like. They always arrive covered in arugula and parmigiana, we’re salivating just thinking of them.
Tried the Polpetta (meatballs) and are like home made.
The arancinis are to die for, balls of rice stuffed with melted cheese battered.
I loved one of the signature dishes the Tronchetto (log) pizza the crust was spot on (not chewy) the Doug is rolled and stuffed with 4 different Italian cheeses and a topping of Parmesan and prosciutto.
I'm really looking forward to return and try the pizzas with red sauce, prepared with San Marzano tomatoes.
The place was crowded, despite this the service was excellent.
