Food was made when ordered. It was not expensive. Welcoming environment and very friendly staff. My daughter and I had the fried chicken with fried plaintain, rice with beans, soup and some empanada-like filled with meat (not sure what its called). We also had a delicious dessert made from sweet potatoe. My husband had goat stew and he loved it. The best part is that they spoke English. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

The Griot is amazing! Definitely the best place to eat on the island, go see for yourself! Great friendly staff as well :)

Best Haitian food, we are lucky to have him in ile-perrot. Best griot, best rice, great service. I recommend to all, try something different for once.

Great authentic haitian cuisine. This restaurant offers great Haitian food that is authentic and home made. Loved the Accras, the djondjon rice and the plantain bananas. The owners were also very welcoming and waited for us well past 9h00 so we could get some dishes for take out. Very much appreciated!

Would recommend.. The food is typical from Haiti and VERY original.
Very different from what we are used to have in North America or in Europe.
On the top of that it is very tasty and seems to be made out of first quality ingredients.
The owner and his wife are friendly people who take their business very seriously.
The prices are good compared to what you get.

A very pleasant experience indeed.
