This place has something for everyone: the view, hyper locally sourced food, delicious menu, amazing atmosphere, community involvement, and great staff/ owners.
The transparency in their food sources can be seen right on their menu. You can be sure that if they can get it locally- they will. It is hands down my first choice when picking somewhere to eat!
I have never had a breakfast sandwich anything like this one. I'm not even going to try to describe the fluffy, buttery biscuit base. Just go eat one. The lunch sandwiches are also excellent and the tea and coffee are spot-on. I also love the ginger cookies.
The view can't be beat, the food is absolutely outstanding, and the service is excellent. Kingston is lucky to have Juniper Cafe!

Delightful restaurant in downtown Kingston. Stop in just for bakery or food to go or sit inside or outside on their patio. Our food was very good, beautifully prevented. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean restaurant. Restrooms are down a set of stairs.
We had a fantastic brunch here!! I wanted breakfast and my husband wanted lunch and their menu provided delicious options for both. I ordered a mimosa and was pleasantly surprised to be served my own tiny bottle of bubbles to mix with the freshly squeezed OJ! My blueberry french toast was incredible...nice thick bread that was perfectly cooked and topped with fresh cream. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely visit next time we are in Kingston!
Patio season is here! The service is great, drinks are on point and food is yummy. The bakery is also a great visit, I never leave without some Chez Piggy blend.
Had a fantastic brunch at this place! We were lucky to grab a table so quickly in their patio (be prepared to queue) but was no disappointed! Great drink selection (teas, coffees and mimosas!). Difficult to pick just one thing off the menu!
Make sure you get some cookies and cakes to takeaway too.
Had an amazing lunch in this lovely and charming European-style bakery, cafe & gourmet food shop. There are superb selections of linen, wonderful regional cheese, incredible fresh bread and great wines. I felt as if I was transported to France, given the array of food odors. It was delightful way to experience Kingston.
