What can I say that hasn't been said? The food is great, the setup is great, the staff are beyond great and Gerry is a true gentleman. He and his store are active in the community with generous donations and activities. I've never hesitated to recommend Fardella's to anyone. I've not heard anything but positive feedback. I see there is a single "one star rating" yet dozens of us rate it a 5. I think perhaps a personal issue that has nothing to do with the bakery, it's staff or Gerry. Keep it up guys!!! P.S. order the beef dip sandwich. You'll not regret it!!!!!
I've been looking for a restaurant who makes a real clubhouse sandwich and Fardella's is it! It was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. My hubby got the fish and chips and he loved it. For dessert we had a brownie and a butter tart, best baked goods in town! Very cozy place with great food and great people! We will be back for sure. Thank you for the great experience.
Had a lunchtime special (chicken burger) and it was great. The lettuce and tomato was fresh and the burger came hot. Space for dine-in isn't guaranteed in these pandemic times but otherwise a great place for coffee and dessert.
Best Carrot Cake in town! I called ahead and the Lady was very friendly. I was given time once there to look around - couldn't resist the Apple Fritter as well - hands down the best around. Nice cream cheese icing not super sweet, very creamy. Will be back again! I highly recommend.
All I can say is WOW! So glad to find on style bakery from like when I was a kid back in the 70’s... Has that yummy smell and the size of those apple fritters ! A must stop for those passing through for sure.
A nice little place to stop in for a meal or just a treat. The bakery portion is great. The fritters are delicious and quite large. Their other selection in the bakery part includes doughnuts, tarts, cakes, cupcakes and more. I will definitely be back!

Fardella's is the kind of bakery where you know anything you pick up will be amazing. My favourites are the blueberry fritters, snickerdoodles, and banana cream tarts. The fritter is enormous, STUFFED with delicious blueberry filling, and so fluffy yet dense the way a donut should be. It's a struggle not stopping by everyday on my way home. The only thing I've been disappointed by is the change in the custard recipe. It was perfect in the tarts before, but the last couple I've gotten seemed completely different and nowhere near as tasty. I still have dreams about that custard.
