Best Pad Thai I've had in Kingston. Large portions and tons of flavour. Really cool location too. Definitely recommend. The staff were also very nice.

For the indecisive, the appetizer assortment ($14.99) offers a great variety: tons of crowd pleasing fried items including lightly dusted calamari, tasty crispy vegetable spring rolls stuffed with thinly sliced vegetables and glass noodles, and peppery shrimp wrapped in spring roll sheets; simple egg, tofu and vegetable fresh rolls wrapped in rice paper; slightly dry chicken satay skewers; and a refreshing cucumber salad. A nice starter, snack or nibbling plate.

There’s something magical about Thai soups – a medley of ingredients simmered together for long periods creating a cacophony of flavours. The coconut chicken soup ($6.99) was the best part of the meal: a surprisingly light broth, despite the coconut milk, balanced with a slight acidity from lemon and kaffir lime leaves. Don’t be fooled, the milky liquid still has a spicy kick, with the galangal (an ingredient similar to ginger root), creating a throat cleansing sting. Do yourself a favour and save some of the broth to spoon over steamed rice.

Another great addition to rice is the beef tamarind curry ($13.99). Generally, I prefer sticking to chicken, shrimp or vegetable based curries as I find flank steak slices often become tough and tasteless. Thai House Cuisine uses brisket instead, which undoubtedly takes longer to cook, but produces a tender meat that actually soaks up flavours.

Despite the menu displaying three chilies beside the spicy chicken ($12.99), the stir fry wasn’t too hard to handle given the sauce incorporates a sweetness to mellow the heat. We were warned that the restaurant’s dishes have been toned down for the Canadian palette, so if you’re like me and would want this spicier, don’t be afraid to ask for the

Affordable price for a tasty Thaï food. The spicyness of the food was just right. Service was nice and quick. The place was clean and quiet.

The second time visiting this restaurant. This time I went with my host family. The food were good as usual. My host dad ordered a cup of coffee and they told us they don't have milk... Lmao. I just found it funny that a restaurant don't have milk for coffee. Maybe is something common and I don't know haa. But so far a good review!!! The foods were awesome.

After spending 6 months trying various other Thai restaurants at the advice of fellow students, I discovered this gem around the corner from my downtown apartment. One visit and I was hooked! It took every ounce of will-power I had not to order take-out from Thai House Cuisine every night. The spring rolls are mouth-watering, the Pad Thai is flavourful (and includes shrimp, chicken AND tofu - which is becoming a rarity, as many places make you choose 1 protein) and the Red Chicken Curry with tender bamboo shoots and bright Thai basil (my usual) is simply to die for. Rich, full flavors, aromatic sauces and the rice is perfect every time.

Eating in, the service is friendly, quick and attentive. I am sad to be leaving Kingston after 3 years of school, but I know Thai House will be at the top of my list whenever I return to visit!

We love this place! Tried a few in town and this was by far the most delicious. Meals are reasonably priced and full of flavour. Try their lunch, it's a great value and with quick service you won't be waiting long!

Best Thai place. I love this place! They are the ONLY Asian restaurant I've gone to that pays attention to presentation! The spring rolls and soup for appetizers are beautifully presented, with vibrant colours and a clean approach. My friends and I got the lunch special, and it was wonderful and nicely portioned and cheap too. So great!

Have ordered take-out from here a few times now and have enjoyed the food every time. Have had some issues with orders being ready on time but it wouldn’t stop me from ordering from them again as the food is generally a win. Get the Thai basil rice!

On our 15th wedding anniversary we ordered a romantic dinner and what an amazing surprise to see these little heart shaped carrots! A delicious pad thai made by someone who clearly cares, would absolutely recommend.

Had the lunch special of Pad Thai. It came with a small salad, spring roll and a small soup. Great value and portion size for the price. Was scrumptious to boot. Also added sticky rice and chicken satay was very good. It was -30 with the windchill yesterday and they wrapped the spring roll in aluminum foil and the chicken satays so they would stay warm. Very impressed. First time ordering here and will be back in the future.

Delicious. Our favourite takeout spot in Kingston. We’ve tried many items on the menu. Favourite ones are the cashew nut shrimp stir fry, basil spicy noodles, pad Thai, and basil duck.

Thai House is really good and authentic Thai food. Highly recommend the spring rolls, they’re the best I’ve had! Also can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, really liked their pad thai and red curry.
