The food is great the place is cute but the best thing about this place is the family that owns it. They are so nice and friendly, every time I go in there it's so relaxing.

Heard about this place through a friend. So glad we went here to try it out!
I lived in Vancouver all my life and the Chinese food there is amazing. Kelowna is pretty sad and I'm happy to say that this is probably the most authentic Chinese in Kelowna that I've had.
So far we've tried the Salt and pepper squid, shrimp fried rice, vegetable fried rice, shrimp congee, hot and sour soup, vegetable hor fun (fried flat rice noodle) and ma po tofu.
All were good except tbh I wasn't a fan of the congee. But since there is basically no other place to get congee (except for one place but usually they tell you they don't have it made), you could take it home and add more broth and pepper and ginger and stuff if you're really craving it. Or I guess just make your own.
Otherwise, for Kelowna...I was really impressed with everything else. The portions were big and the food was tasty. If you're not sure what to try - try the salt and pepper squid.
Inside there are love seats to sit on instead of dining chairs. The table is kind of too high for the love seat but it's not a huge deal.
Cute little family restaurant. We've been here twice and will definitely be going back.

My favorite restaurant. The place doesn't look like much and I never noticed it. But one day my boyfriend decided to bring me here as he ate here quite often. To my surprise the owners and the food are absolutely amazing. It's nice to have some good authentic Chinese food once in a while. We still continue to go in often and we are always greeted with such kindness. I appreciate this restaurant and the hardworking owners so much. I will always recommend it to my friends. Keep up the great work guys!

This is a small restaurant with big flavours. We were very pleased with all of the dishes we tried; much better then the other Chinese food restaurants in town. The sauces seemed to be house made and the food was all fresh and tasty. We will definitely be eating here again. Prices were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food did take a little longer to come out then we expected, but good things take time.
Had a sweet and sour pork combo, good sized portions, great hot food excellent meats not fatty. Fries are really good and cheap. Good value and the mango bubble Tea was FANTASTIC!
Sigh. I love this place. Reminds me of home—->East Van. Been out here for over 20 years and I haven’t been able to find a place that makes me feel comfortable with authentic Cantonese food.
Beef Ho Fun that’s my jam. Not everyone has it on the menu, and if they do, they don’t do it right. Yumi Bistro Hit it on the mark!! Loved it.
Salt and pepper chicken—->BOOM! They fry the garnish veg (Onions And Peppers)till they carmelize the edges! Then toss it together instead throwing the veg in raw! Damn!
I love this place, recommend it, and will return.

Excellent place to eat some good food in a nice, cozy and homely environment for a very reasonable price. We stopped here for a bite while on a road trip driving through Kelowna. Customer service was excellent. Food was served in a timely manner. The portions were reasonable. I will definitely go back if I'm in Kelowna again.
Yumi bistro has the best Asian food in kelowna. They are a family restaurant, which is nice to see. When going to the restaurant after ordering, they are good at getting your food to you in great time. Very friendly and simply great food.
The food here is great with cheap prices for huge portions of food. The service cam be a little slow during rushes since it's a small family owned buisness. Definently try the bubble tea. World class bubble tea.
Food is good but service is soooo terrible. They hang out in the back kitchen and you have to wait until maybe someone will come to the front. The food is good though.
We order from Yumi all the time.
Hong delivers it usually. We love the sweet and sour chicken balls! Ordering tonite as a matter of fact.
Our favourite Chinese place! We usually take our food to-go, it's a small little place. But the food is AMAZING.
