Delicious! Tasty well seasoned variety of dishes. Good prices and portions. Fresh and yummy! Meat is tender. Vegetarian options are great. Only con is minor: no delivery.
Best East Indian Food in Kelowna. Simply amazing food. I have eaten at every East Indian restaurant in Kelowna and this place beats the rest. This place is a little mom and pop shop that is more of a take out place than a dine in but the food that they make is just amazing. I always go home a stuff myself till I can't eat anymore.
Cheap and Delicious. If you are looking for a place with a good atmosphere, good interior and friendly service..Go somewhere else! What this place lacks in charm, it makes up in good food and good prices. I have tried all other Indian restaurants in Kelowna and while Chutney and Poppadoms may taste just ever so slightly better than the Pakora Palace, similar dishes are offered for half the price. Ironically I would opt out of the pakoras, and the naan for that matter, as I did not find them very good, but the samosas and the curry, specifically the goat curry, were fantastic! Well I wouldn't take a hot date out here I would absolutely order in for a quick lunch or dinner
Best Inidan food in the Okanagan. I love this place, i have been ordering takeout from here for years. I have yet to find an Indian restaraunt that can compaire, even in Vancour! Fish Pakora is Insaine good, love the Aloo Naan, best Channa i have ever had... Can say enough good things about the owners and the food :) :) :)

Oy vey. The place gives me the giggles every time I go here...it's like visiting your Jewish-Indian mother-in-law. She's happy enough to see you but oy vey iz mir, it's a lotta trouble to have you visit.
This is Indian food for the masses. Pretty tasty, reasonable portions and very good pricing. These are folks who are generous with the paneer and the pakora. Eschew the butter chicken (that's food for folks who don't know Indian food) and give a pass on the naan (it's basically pizza dough cooked in the pizza oven) and if you want it hot make sure she knows you're not a neophyte. Otherwise you really can't go wrong with most things on the menu. And leave room for sweets....one of the few places you'll find them.
In the plastic yellow booths there's little ambience and the food here is not fine, the likes of which you'd find at Dawett, but it is good and reasonably priced. And if you have a sense of humour there's always the giggle. Just go.
Wonderful, authentic food!. Not much too look at from the outside but the food is fantastic and available for take out. I've tried 80% of the menu and my favorites by far are butter chicken and fish pakora.
Best kept secret... I love Pakora Palace in Rutland. The food is always delicious and very authentic. The wife appears to do all the cooking. As a vegetarian I love the options I have for meatless dishes. The price is very reasonable and the owners are very friendly. We aren't sure if they do well, as every time we've gone in to pick up our order the restaurant is empty (granted its very 'cozy' in the restaurant)...if they aren't doing well THEY SHOULD BE. This place is WAY better than Pompadoms that opened in Rutland next to the Grand 10 theater. Pakora Palace is authentic, reasonably priced, DELICIOUS indian food.
Some seriously great Indian food. My wife picks up a dozen of the samosas once a week. My favourite is the aloo gobi and butter chicken. This is the only place in Kelowna that you can get great Indian food to go. I recommended to all of my friends.
I enjoyed their food, although I did find it to be a bit oily. Despite that, the flavors were undeniably delicious. The chefs clearly know how to create tasty dishes, but a little moderation with the oil could have made the experience even better. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would consider returning for the flavors, hoping they could adjust the oiliness next time.
Very Authentic indian food in kelowna. Real Indian taste made by great management. Very crispy and nice jalebi ( Indian sweet) .
Highly recommend for everyone in kelowna have to taste their food in once .

The best Indian restaurant in the city for me. The owner is kind and always careful about what we want. The food is amazing. The problem with most of the indian restaurants in the city is that they are so oily. But here it is always healthy. Accidentally walked in few months ago and now I go there atleast once a week.
I really enjoy the food here - the fish pakora, lamb kabob, daal and biryani are my favourites. Good staff, very friendly, their hours are later than most places. Will highly recommend to try their food out.
The food quality was consistently outstanding and service was fantastic, exceeding my expectations every time. I highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Picked up a very tasty good value authentic takeout.. particularly liked the coconut lamb dish and fish pakora. Would definitely recommend.
Aalo gobi and paneer masala with the naan are the best dishes , chole bhature are also worth the price which comes with salad and really delicious pickles.

We tried the gosht dum biriani and it was delicious. Quantity of the food was good considering it’s price. People of the restaurant were very humble and friendly. Had a great food experience.
I was so impressed with my dinner this evening! Me and my friends tried fish tikka chicken wing and goat curry and naan. We finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. Our serving staff was sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!”
