I had a fantastic afternoon in the sun sipping Aperol Spritz and eating yummy pizza on Famoso’s patio! I’ve been frequenting Famoso since it opened, and it has always had a cool vibe – but with the patio open, it’s the perfect spot for drinks and food post beach (it’s only 2 blocks away!). The staff is extremely friendly, and the menu has something for everyone – my favourite is starting with the calamari and marinated olives followed by the cavoletti pizza. The gelato is so good – I can’t resist an affogato to top it off. The pizza is authentic Neapolitan so it’s perfect for folding the crust to get all the sweet and savory flavours! The cocktail menu is on point for the summer and local rotating beer taps/local wines featured. I’ll most definitely be frequenting this patio all summer to cool off after the beach!
Fabulous atmosphere, great service, and amazing food with a great variety of beer on tap as well. The history of the wood used within the structure coming from a local Kelowna farm house and the amazing oven cooking your pizza in 90 seconds......... check it out , you will not be disappointed..
Tried Famoso for the first time during happy hour. It's a great way to try a place as you get to order quite a few items at a lower cost. Tried their house lager, Mediterranean flatbread, prosciutto cheese balls, salami pizza and 4 cheese pizza. Prosciutto balls were a hit, loved them. Spicy Salami pizza was also good but didn't like Mediterranean bread at all. It lacked cheese and overall taste and the server was kind enough to get that off the bill. Cheese pizza was also ok, not something I would recommend or reorder. Beer was at a fantastic price of $4. Rates are better overall. It's a 3.5 stars ⭐ from me considering the food. So overall a good experience and loved the ambience plus the service was great 👍🏻 Staff is really nice and friendly so will try visiting this place again.
It’s a big restaurant so there is no line and u can get a table right away. The service was really. The only problem was that they only had 3 vegetarian pizza. The pizza was great and delicious 🤤
Overall very happy and I will definitely go back here.
Capricciosa pizza and Famoso salad
We were there last Saturday night with another couple, and absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was very busy and lively. The service was amazing. All of the staff that came to our table were very friendly. The service was fast. The pizza crust was delicious. Not too thin. The salad had a little bit too much protein on it for me but not a big deal. They had a great beer selection, and I enjoyed a few Aperol spritz. I adore Woodfire pizza’s and these did not disappoint. I’ll definitely return with my family and friends.
My partner and I have different pizza preferences and Famoso was a crowd pleaser. It's a great in between of thick and thin crust. The toppings were ample and it's fun to watch the pizza get tossed fresh.
The servers are all nice and sweet, they make the experience nice as well.
Great spot for dine in pizza that the whole family will like but also great for date night.
The most delicious pizza ever!! Went to celebrate a birthday with family and the birthday boy got a free tiramisu dessert! A very nice touch to a lovely evening. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in Kelowna.
My husband and I decided to try Famoso last week for our date night and decided to go back again tonight! Everything was delicious, and the service was great! The food arrived promptly. The decor is very nice, and the place is very clean.
I had the linguini rosé with prawns (I added extra prawns). The pictures also show bruschetta, Dark chocolate salted caramel gelato, the watermelon sorbet, pepperoni pizza, prawns a la diavolo, and Napoli salad. The peach Italian soda is also pictured here. Lots of great dishes to try. A great variety of alcohol as well!

Everything was great, my personal favs are the mozza balls and the garlic bread if I remember correctly (the first pic). Gelato is the best dessert, I had the caramel one because I have super sweet tooth if you don’t then you might find it too creamy and sweet like my friend did

Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff and great menu. Food was delivered very quickly, even though we were a group of over 10 people.
The food itself is well presented, with ingredients well thought out. The pizzas are more classically italian, with highly palatable combinations of toppings. For exmple, one of the pizzas we enjoyed was the Cavoletti, with prosciutto, brussel sprouts, walnuts and dates, topped with gorgonzola cheese and a light drizzle of honey.
Relaxing atmosphere, very clean and comfortable. There's a gelato bar for desert, and an open area up front where customers can view dough being tossed & prepared.
Dough is provided for children to play with, which is a nice change from the usual colouring.
Hands down the best pizzeria in Kelowna. Last month I hosted a pizza tour, went to 8 different pizzerias and Famoso was one of our stops. The story behind their pizzas, their staff, environment and quality of pizza was like no other. Their pizza is to die for, their passion behind what they do spoke volumes in their food. If you ever want to impress someone with pizza this is the place to go to.
