I love having Valoroso Foods just a few blocks from our place. Every time we go in we are greeted with great customer service and fantastic produce to sample. Our pizza nights just wouldn't be the same without Valoroso! Keep doing what you're doing :)
I know the press made this tough on Valoroso but I trust the family and I am a foodie who knows when I have eaten bad or poor quality food and I fully believe everything I have eaten from here has been of impressive quality, amazingly home cooked from their hot food bar, and worthy of more trust than the public seems to be giving them. They were put in a difficult position, found to be safe and practicing nothing off side by the government. I trust everything they have sold to be safe, and if they felt the canned goods or dried pasta was ok past the recommended date the government has no issue with them changing the date if the food is still safe. I need more proof of truly poor quality or dodgy practice before I judge them! Lets not be so quick to throw someone under the bus and judge them! Their products are top notch!
Beautiful store with great variety of Italian drinks, coffees, desserts and cakes. Deli and cheese counter.
Some tables outside and inside for drinking your espresso and pistachio cheesecake which I'm so excited to try. Some hot food items available as well as tiramisu and very delicious looking Italian desserts. Plenty of Parking. Staff were friendly.
Lovely little Italian deli. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. Great selection of cheese, meat, bread, gelato, olive oil and more.

This store is one of the best parts about living in Kelowna. If you love food and cooking and you haven't been here, you're lacking something that should be in your life by not going here.
Every single staff member without exception is extremely friendly and makes you feel more like walking into your grandmas pantry rather than a store.
They have the highest quality Italian foods available anywhere outside of Italy. And you might be thinking that means expensive, but they beat any grocery chain by a mile in both quality and price (probably because they import directly from what I understand). Seriously go get some cheese from here and thank me later.
If you go there in the morning you might be lucky enough to run into the owner Joe for a espresso and some good conversation too.
5 stars is not enough for this place. And no, I'm not affiliated with them nor do I know anyone there personally, I just love food a ton and the people there share that passion and make you feel welcome everytime. There's a reason I'm down there every week 🙂
Excellent Italian deli, bakery and grocery store. Great selection of high quality imported items. Bought a lovely perfectly Aged Gouda, frozen homemade pasta and sauce that made a delicious meal finishing with a lovely gelato. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great selection of baked treats. I opted for the chocolate cheesecake which was to die for and a coffee for the road. Support local for a taste of Italy.
I had a short stay in Rome of about a month and entering Valoroso took me back to that time. As Italian authentic as can be with it's high expresso bar and ready to eat food. The market is very inviting as well. Good quality products. We had a piece of tiramisu that was probably the best I've ever had
What an amazing authentic Italian market with fresh baked Italian foods and Italian salads etc! Delicious coffees and beautified market for fresh olives, cheeses and other blue zone and Italian items!

Friendly, good service. Decaf espresso drinks are more expensive than regular caffeinated drinks. Indoor seating area very small. Good Italian food selection.
Excellent variety of pastas, cold cuts , cheeses and Italian espresso coffees . Not sure about which cold cut to buy they will happily offer you a slice to try. You can also have an espresso and cake in store . Nice Italian deli shopping experience!
Excellent for cakes and pastry, so it’s for many more things.
