Fast, friendly and good food. This is one of my favorite places to get a tasty meal in a short amount of time. Great tempura! Be sure to check it out next time you are in the mood for sushi.
It was awesome~!! I was there with my friends. There staffs were very friendly and i got so muvh delicious of sushi with sashimi in Makoto restaurant~!!

Delicious sushi and we were treated very well! They weren't too busy (it was 3pm) and we got a % off for getting take out >$20. I'd definitely recommend the rolls here!

I had such a good sushi in this place. Rolls were big and tight enough, and those taste were well balanced, making great harmony. It's my favorite sushi place in Kelowna.
Visited Makoto for the second time and was not disappointed. A great selection of varied rolls and the most beautiful bento box I have ever seen! The food is flavourful and well made by happy chefs who always greet you as you enter the door. Service is the right amount of attentive and we were even treated to a little dessert taster. The pricing is very modest and takeout orders seem to be popular. This is fast becoming our new favourite sushi place.
Surprisingly good food. Unfortunately waited over 15 minutes before we were served, in fact customers who came in after us were served before we were. Waited 30 minutes before food arrived.
But food was delicious! Large rolls. Will go again.
What a surprise !!. First, I am very picky about my Japanese restaurants as some of my reviews clearly show. My wife is Japanese and I have eaten and studied, japanese food for quite some time. Anyhow I thought I would give this a try and I ordered a Rainbow roll and a Spicy Tuna roll. It was fantastic !!. The chef is obviously well trained as it appears he has worked for the Hyatt/ Hilton in Korea among other top places and it shows. These rolls were tight, balanced amount of rice, fresh fish and both had a little spin on what one would expect.The flavors were excellent ! If those two rolls are any indication of the overall menu then I recommend this place. I will definately go back and take my whole family.
