Went there for my 30th had the hot/cold seafood platter totally beat my favorite platter from New Orleans without a question. Every detail on the platter was amazing food tasted great loved drinks & service was excellent left full. Learned about happy hr tryed it again with my 9 year old & loved it. Some portions may be smaller which im great with because its about the quality of the food which has been bang on both times. Cheers
We are sitting here. I am not a oyster eater but the others at the table loved them. I had the fish tacos and I would rate them as the best I have had. Nice place. Definitely worth checking it out.
We had our corporate Christmas party with 16 people at West Coast Grill & Oyster Bar on Saturday. Many of us had never dined there before, the experience was well received. Our server and support staff/management were very welcoming and attentive. The service was prompt , our meals were timed out well for delivery, and all dishes were impressive. Steaks and seafood were cooked properly- not over or undercooked. A few dishes were noted as a bit salty, but all-in-all everyone really enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is bright, hopping but not overly loud. The price point is formal dining rates but the quality matched what your paying for. For a special night out this is a great place to celebrate an occasion.
We went on a quiet winter night and it was a perfect spot for some drinks and dinner. They had lots of options, our food was delicious, service was great. The atmosphere is comfortable and beautiful. We sat at a window while snow trickled down, ate a beautiful dinner and drank wine. What could be better. We really enjoyed our night out. Thank-you
Best Fish and chips I've had in quite some time. The chowder was also really nicely done! I look forward to bringing family to eat there in the future.
Came here with a group of 7 during happy hour to hopefully dig into their oyster special. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told only a max of 6 oysters per person. A handful ordered oysters and then halfway through the service the rest who hadn’t used their allocation tried to, but were told they were no longer serving oysters. Disappointing as I had flown out to BC for a food vacation and was really looking forward to having some delicious seafood. Hopefully next time patrons can get more than 6 oysters per person!
Highly recommended. We went during happy hour and enjoyed each dishes we ordered. The fresh oyster and seafood platter already made us very full, but we also ordered seafood chowder and a Westcoast seafood pasta. Very fresh seafood, and I can't imagine how much they added into the seafood chowder. One order is enough for two.
The service is fantastic and the staffs are acquainted with their menu selections. I ordered a non-alcohol drink which I liked it alot.
As for the dinning atmosphere, it is amazing. Very spacious and casual. The only picky part will be the AC cooling, which I find it a bit too warm inside, especially sitting by the window. It will be nice if the AC is turn on.
Had dinner there with great service and lovely atmosphere. Raw oysters, truffle fries, pesto pasta and the warm toffee dessert were simply amazing. Food was served very fresh and I didn't expect a local restaurant served with such a high standard. However, I was a little disappointed with the small portion of the fish though. It was great overall and I highly recommend anyone in Kelowna to try this restaurant for a nice evening meal.
Food was amazing!! Had the chipotle steamer pot, halibut fish n chips, and pot du crème for dessert. The chefs are phenomenal, food was to die for. Great atmosphere inside and on the patio. All of the servers and staff were very attentive. Our server Mei was so friendly and personable. Impeccable service, everything was perfect!
Went there for happy hour. Tried most of the dishes on the happy hour menu, and all were very good. The beers on tap were varied and cold. Service was great. Free parking for guests of the hotel and restaurant. As it wasn't during the tourist season, there was lots of space, and it wasn't noisy, so we were able to carry on a conversation across the table. Would be the perfect place for a special date night.
I was blow away first and formemoat by the service. Amir made my nine year old daughter feel like the most special guest. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect. I love seafood, but there are options for everyone. My kids tried oysters for the first time and the whole restaurant loved watching their reactions. 5 star all the way.
stayed at the hotel and stopped by for afternoon snack for some oysters. wasnt really much of a oyster deal happy hour but food was great, service could hv been better though.
