Went there for my 30th had the hot/cold seafood platter totally beat my favorite platter from New Orleans without a question. Every detail on the platter was amazing food tasted great loved drinks & service was excellent left full. Learned about happy hr tryed it again with my 9 year old & loved it. Some portions may be smaller which im great with because its about the quality of the food which has been bang on both times. Cheers
We are sitting here. I am not a oyster eater but the others at the table loved them. I had the fish tacos and I would rate them as the best I have had. Nice place. Definitely worth checking it out.
Michelle is fantastic, she went above and beyond. Food and service are top notch and the crab cakes are hands down the best I have ever had!
From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere and location it is wonderful. The happy hour is definitely the best in town. All nice hard working people. And did I mention the food? Go see for yourselves. Enjoy some wine and oysters on the patio... Hmmm. Be prepared to make a lot of yummy noises.

The food here is amazing. I had the gnocci and some garlic prawns on top. To start I had the tacos with crispy pork belly. Everything was amazing!!! If I lived in Kelowna I would come here all the time.
The food was delicious. Service was great! Fast, friendly and welcoming. The baked oysters were the best I've ever had!!!
The food was absolutely fabulous! I will be going back here for the buck-a-shuck oysters and happy hour drinks on a regular basis. Service was also outstanding - I recommend you give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!
Came in for #happyhour just to try it out! Omg what a great surprise! Fantastic food and service. Stayed for dinner as well. Our server Douglas was so awesome !! We will be back.
There really arent words to describe the experiences in the last month at this place. The service, ambience, and ALL food items are exquisitely put together for an experience that just defies some of the better restaurants I have been to in big cities. This includes Tofino and Vancouver where seafood is abundant. This is a GEM of a place....dont wait to go. Its worthy EVERY oyster shuck and ever single bite.
We had our corporate Christmas party with 16 people at West Coast Grill & Oyster Bar on Saturday. Many of us had never dined there before, the experience was well received. Our server and support staff/management were very welcoming and attentive. The service was prompt , our meals were timed out well for delivery, and all dishes were impressive. Steaks and seafood were cooked properly- not over or undercooked. A few dishes were noted as a bit salty, but all-in-all everyone really enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is bright, hopping but not overly loud. The price point is formal dining rates but the quality matched what your paying for. For a special night out this is a great place to celebrate an occasion.
We went on a quiet winter night and it was a perfect spot for some drinks and dinner. They had lots of options, our food was delicious, service was great. The atmosphere is comfortable and beautiful. We sat at a window while snow trickled down, ate a beautiful dinner and drank wine. What could be better. We really enjoyed our night out. Thank-you
Best Fish and chips I've had in quite some time. The chowder was also really nicely done! I look forward to bringing family to eat there in the future.
Came here with a group of 7 during happy hour to hopefully dig into their oyster special. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told only a max of 6 oysters per person. A handful ordered oysters and then halfway through the service the rest who hadn’t used their allocation tried to, but were told they were no longer serving oysters. Disappointing as I had flown out to BC for a food vacation and was really looking forward to having some delicious seafood. Hopefully next time patrons can get more than 6 oysters per person!
Highly recommended. We went during happy hour and enjoyed each dishes we ordered. The fresh oyster and seafood platter already made us very full, but we also ordered seafood chowder and a Westcoast seafood pasta. Very fresh seafood, and I can't imagine how much they added into the seafood chowder. One order is enough for two.
The service is fantastic and the staffs are acquainted with their menu selections. I ordered a non-alcohol drink which I liked it alot.
As for the dinning atmosphere, it is amazing. Very spacious and casual. The only picky part will be the AC cooling, which I find it a bit too warm inside, especially sitting by the window. It will be nice if the AC is turn on.
Had dinner there with great service and lovely atmosphere. Raw oysters, truffle fries, pesto pasta and the warm toffee dessert were simply amazing. Food was served very fresh and I didn't expect a local restaurant served with such a high standard. However, I was a little disappointed with the small portion of the fish though. It was great overall and I highly recommend anyone in Kelowna to try this restaurant for a nice evening meal.
Food was amazing!! Had the chipotle steamer pot, halibut fish n chips, and pot du crème for dessert. The chefs are phenomenal, food was to die for. Great atmosphere inside and on the patio. All of the servers and staff were very attentive. Our server Mei was so friendly and personable. Impeccable service, everything was perfect!
Went there for happy hour. Tried most of the dishes on the happy hour menu, and all were very good. The beers on tap were varied and cold. Service was great. Free parking for guests of the hotel and restaurant. As it wasn't during the tourist season, there was lots of space, and it wasn't noisy, so we were able to carry on a conversation across the table. Would be the perfect place for a special date night.
I was blow away first and formemoat by the service. Amir made my nine year old daughter feel like the most special guest. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect. I love seafood, but there are options for everyone. My kids tried oysters for the first time and the whole restaurant loved watching their reactions. 5 star all the way.
stayed at the hotel and stopped by for afternoon snack for some oysters. wasnt really much of a oyster deal happy hour but food was great, service could hv been better though.
Boyfriend and I came for a Christmas Eve meal and we experienced wonderful service with the most polite staff and management. The holiday cocktails were delicious and refreshing with the cranberry and rosemary sprigs. Low lighting and natural elements in the decor by the beach presented the perfect quiet relaxing atmosphere for a night spent together. The meal was presented perfectly, great evening from a lovely venue.

This post has been a long time coming as this was our date night out in the second week of May. No kids over the weekend we decided to treat outsells to oysters which we ordered over 50 of them. When you crave them And don’t want to do it yourself at home I highly recommend coming into the west coast grill patio and take it all in. Our waiter I believe his name was Matthew was attentive to our every request. We ordered Preseco 🥂 hubby ordered beer 🍺 and we actually didn’t know it but we came at the right time which was happy hour 😂😂❤️❤️ so basically drank An ate two for the price of one.
Sitting out on the patio in the summer heat was amazing on a Saturday afternoon people watching was so much fun. Everything was perfect.
It seemed that we were there for a few hours so we ended up ordering fish n chips and turf to go. I’m telling you by the time we got home our bellies were stuffed
The food was one point, the staff were so attentive everyone was friendly and they seemed really happy to be where they were.
Hats off to the servers chefs staff and everyone who made us feel amazing by welcoming us into the space. Our date was a huge success.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves oysters 🦪 And a Sunday afternoon scene.
No disappointments here.

We went during their happy hour special (3pm-6pm) which is half price on all sharing plates. Pretty good deal with oysters, mussel clam steamer pot, calamari and chicken bites. Everything, except the chicken bites impressed us a lot. The sauces were excellent and well seasoned. Good service. Would recommend a try.

Great location! Excellent service and great food. Fresh oysters and specials. Steak and Lobster or double Lobster tail special when we went. Steak was cooked to order. Big pieces of halibut for the fish and chips. Brussel sprout appetizer was tasty as was the calamari. Seafood pasta was a good size and the family loved it! Definitely will be back every time we visit Kelowna!
We went Christmas Eve before touring Kelowna Christmas. It IS a hidden gem!!! The oysters and appys were delicious. The service was excellent. We enjoyed it so much and highly recommend it!

Ordered a dozen fresh oysters. They were fresh, but tiny.
Nephew had the Arctic char. Was ok. Fish was good.
Calamari was really good.
Pasta was ok.
Tuna crudo was delicious but the veggies dressing was a tad too sour.
Overall was a pretty decent meal but rather pricey. I suppose after covid everything is pricey.
If you're driving there, you'll need to get a parking permit from the restaurant (NOT the hotel lobby as the signs state on the wall of the parking area).
Went for my Birthday dinner. Was Excellent food and service!!! Highly recommended!
Just had dinner here, and it was amazing. Food tasted great, fair pricing considering we went during happy hour, and great service- friendly staff. We ordered the calamari, steamer pot, seafood linguine, Brussel sprouts, and a kids meal. All this really only cost around $100. They were also very accommodating with our baby stroller.
