I was visiting my Mom at the Berkley Bedford and had to have a meal at the Café l'Acadie. I am on a gluten free diet and they have several gluten free options,, even gluten free apple crisp for dessert. I chose the haddock dinner which great. The haddock was very fresh, flavourful and a large portion. I highly recommend this café.

3 of us just had lobster dinner at Cafe l'Acadie. We expected lobster to be as lobster is, but the chef Gary overwhelmed us with the way he prepared it. What accompanied the lobster was a warm homemade potato salad that was very very tasty. Also included was homemade bread and a garlic butter which the lobster didn't need as it was so flavourful. My husband had two of them. Afterward, Gary brought us a lovely authentic maple Acadian dessert on the house. His service is fantastic and he is very friendly. We highly recommend stopping here for some homestyle cooking. We cannot say enough about how great our experience was!!
