We had a lovely meal there. Hubby had fabulous Seafood Chowder and a think crust pizza. I had Haddock Fish & Chips. Both were fabulous. As it was our 50th anniversary, we were brought two home made chocolates for dessert, free gratis. Certainly recommend this quaint little restaurant. Only thing a bit disappointing was we couldn't see the ocean for trees, while eating, BUT it was pouring rain, so didnt' really matter. Would highly recommend The Rhubarb Restaurant.
Rhubarb is one of my favourite restaurants in HRM. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. Absolutely worth the time to visit; we've been several times.
Our visit for Sunday brunch this morning did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious. Even the coffee is nicely done. Yum. Simply yum.
PS: The biscuits are delightful.
This gem has a nice deck and view of the water. We didn't make a reservation (reservation recommended) so we sat inside next to the window, which was still lovely. Staff was friendly, service was excellent. Great place to go for lunch after visiting Peggy's Cove, which is minutes away. The lobster roll was the best I've had. The others loved their fish and chips and also the fish tacos were delicious!!
Nice atmosphere and nice healthy menu. It is pricey especially desserts ($10 each) but the contents are good. Hard to get a table on weekends unless you make a reservation. We wish that we could visit this restaurant by a boat but no dock available. Eggs are perfectly done in whatever selections you make.
What an amazing experience. Small and lovely restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely must try seafood chowder and haddock fish. Lovely people and delicious must try place if your going to Peggy’s cove.
Absolutely lovely time, stopped in for a Saturday lunch after hiking through Polly's Cove. Collectively, the table had a haddock burger with smokey tomato soup and Caesar salad, lobster roll with chowder side and a main chowder bowl. The food was great, very fresh and had great presentation. We opted for the salted caramel chocolate pate, which was also fantastic. Highly recommend, friendly service and great flavours!

Everything from start to finish was wonderful. The best seafood chowder ever had. A must visit if you're going to Peggy's Cove.
What a great place!! Food served like it was made for tv 😋. Had a amazing piece of lamb and finished the wifes chicken... omg so good. I mean I knew it had great reviews but wow.. we'll be back for sure.
Update:
Had ANOTHER amazing early dinner this weekend. Nan said it was the best fish and chips she had in forever.. my lamb was superb, and the wife's stuffed chicken.. so good. Kudos to Rachel as well who was a great server. Omg I love this place.
Recently came here for supper. Food was great, portions were big. Staff members were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. I highly recommend anyone coming here, you will not regret it!
