Just ordered an ate the arancini balls and and x-large pizza. I have to say these were the best arancini balls I have had in years and years. Pizza was amazing as well. Thin crust with fresh toppings. I would recommend this place to everyone. Not to mention the owner came out and gave my daughter a juice while we waited for our food! That's A-1 service which is hard to find these days!
Just had the seafood linguine. . . Amazing!!! It wasn't spicy and the people are all friendly. It definitely won't be my last visit there :)
Great little mom & pop stop! My wife and I were recommended to this restaurant from a coworker. We were not disappointed. As we have only tried the panzarotti, we still can't get enough of this place. Fair warning: BIG PORTIONS - A small pazarotti is enough for the two of us.
I can't believe I hadn't discovered this little gem until now. My boyfriend and I found this place on urbanspoon and decided to try it out. WOW! The food was absolutely delicious. The garlic bread was so fresh and tasty, the noodles just melt in your mouth, and the sauce is so flavorful! We will definitely be visiting again! The couple who owns the restaurant are so sweet and were very warm and welcoming. A must go!
Awesome food, warm, friendly service. My son is at McMaster University and my wife and I decided to drive into Hamilton to take him to lunch. When I told him to pick a place, he typed "best place to eat in Hamilton" in google and Alfredo's Place came up. Up on Hamilton mountain Alfredo's is a family owned and operated pizza and Italian food establishment. It is mostly a take out establishment but Alfredo has setup a few tables if you want to sit and eat and watch TV. To say he was friendly and welcoming is an understatement. When we arrived a little before noon on a Saturday he was putting what looked like a large flat donut on a pizza tray into the pizza oven. He explained that this was his Alfredo's special sandwich, his description was so mouth-watering that we had to order one. We decided that we would order a lot because the menu looked way too interesting. I ordered an Alfredo Pizza Taco, and my son ordered a potato pizza. Then sandwich arrived first, a wonderful combination of bacon, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and onions covered in mozzarella cheese in a freshly baked pizza dough bun (donut shaped, sliced into pieces). Awesome!! Then came the Taco Pizza, a ground beef, tomato, red onion, cheddar and mozzarella cheese pizza with a pizza dough cover. Again the flavours were awesome because the ingredients were so fresh. I like this pizza because the cover made each slice like a panini. Then finally the potato pizza arrived, again this was spectacular, nice thin crust with thin slices of potatoes and fresh garlic (make sure you like garlic if you order this one). After we ordered more of the family arrived to help, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly, chatting with us with smiles and with such ease that they make us feel like we had been coming there for years. To simply recommend eating here is really not enough, "you gotta eat here!"... Maybe the Food channel will drop by if enough people start to review it :)
