I've eaten a lot of donuts over the years. There are others that are really good (Paula's in Buffalo and Beechwood in St. Catharines) but Donut Monster are the best. DM donuts are not simple; they create unique flavours using high quality ingredients. If you want a simple donut that is decent, go to Granddad's. If you want the best donut, this is the place. They even make vegan donuts that are delicious! Well done, Donut Monster! My tastebuds thank you.
This donut shop is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood that reminds me of "Old South" in London Ontario. We attended a family wedding this past weekend and the Bride and Groom love the donuts so we had to try!! They are amazing! Highly recommend anyone travelling to Hamilton try them out!!
The name is appropriate as these donuts are monsters. You can't really compare them to your typical donut as they are quite substantial and my wife even commented that the three that we bought felt like a dozen, weight-wise. I had the Brownie Fritter which was delicious. I love the way the store looks and the service was great.
I absolutely love this place. It’s hard to believe which donuts are vegan and not - and the flavors are always changing so I’m always looking at the menu for new donuts to try. The customer service, coffee, donuts, and products (thank you for carry chemex filters for a price less than any retailer) are all fantastic.
We had a great experience this morning at donut monster. The staff are very friendly and the donut flavours are super inventive and tasty! As for the drinks, boyfriend said it was one of the best London fogs he’s had.
My friend was just so exited to try these donuts. We went to Hamilton for an exam and when we finish we went here, was a Sunday at 4pm when we arrived almost everything
was sold out exept 2 types so we tried them. Omg the pride donut was incredible the flavors were amazing feels that all flavors where squeezed fruits. Love it. The other one was also good. Great coffees and ice creams as well.
Very nice atmosphere and staff. Wide variety of flavors. For those that love sweet donuts, chocolate peanut butter and vanilla bean cake would be perfect.
“Do Or Donut, there is no try!”
•Creative variety of flavours.
•Still plenty to choose from at 4PM on a Friday.
•Cost was about $20 for the lot.
From top left: Apple fritter, double chocolate, cinnamon roll, sarsaparilla, chocolate peanut butter, and mint St Patty.
*Parked on Charlton Ave West (street facing store front)
Kind service and nice atmosphere, go for it!
Delicious donuts! They have unique donuts like kimchi donuts. The kimchi donuts were sweet and very slightly spicy. I would recommend them!
Krispy Kreme eat your heart out! I'm not a huge fan of donuts but these ones are absolutely delicious, and they're somehow dense and airy, not to mention moist. These donuts are a bit pricey but they're easily twice the size of any donuts you'd ever try. The flavours can be a bit out there, definitely not for everyone but worth at least an attempt. Staff act like they genuinely want to be there and love customers' reactions. If you happen to be in the area, or even in town, this is very much worth a detour, especially considering the neighbourhood looks like it's straight out of a storybook
