I come from Long Island NY. I heard about these doughnuts from one of my friend's Facebook posts that lives in Hamilton. This was one of my must try places when I visited Hamilton. I was not disappointed at all!! The doughnuts were spectacular! Fresh and not greasy at all! I don't believe the price for a dozen doughnuts is high at all. They are worth the price considering what you get at mainstream doughnut shops. We have a specialty doughnut shop in Long Island that charges $16.00 U.S a dozen and don't even come close to Grand Dad's doughnuts. This is a definite must try for anyone who lives in or visits Hamilton. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

tried them for the first time today.. every bite took me back to my childhood these are how donuts are supposed to be made!!... great selection i would have bought 2 dozen but must have control.. I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about lack of knowledge with the staff.. like wtf.. they are donuts.. the description of each one is laid out.. dont know what more info you would need lol.. keep up the work.. i will be visiting more often now..

Delicious, fresh & "old school" donuts! They literally melt in your mouth. So many flavours to choose from, except you have to go early to get the good ones! They sell out very quickly. Good size donuts and great prices! If there is a lineup, it moves fast. Plenty of parking. Worth the drive for these treats! 🍩🧡

Wow. Really Fresh and probably some of the Best donuts I have ever had. This is deceiving because looking at them they don't look any different than any other regular donut shop but you will be surprised how good they are. Apple spice and strawberry were amazing. Probably good to go earlier than later since I heard they sell out. Went at 11:15 am and they had every flavor.

If all donut shops could be like Grandad’s, the world would be much happier 🍩✌🏼 The quality and price can’t be beat. $10 for 6 donuts. The selection is fantastic, nothing too fancy, just the killer classics. There no option to tip on their Square POS… who does that?!? We stop by every time we are in the area and would HIGHLY recommend.

Amazingly fresh Cinnamon donuts (and Apple Fritters)! You have to be fast because they will be sold in like 10 minutes. At least that was the case for the Saturday I decided to drive to them. Totally worth the drive from wherever you are to have these if you are a donut lover!

Oh my goodness. Hands down. One of the best fresh donuts I ever had. Highly recommended to anyone who has a sweet tooth. Staff are amazing. Hidden gem in Hamilton!

Always a great start to the first break in the morning. So many to choose from and delicious. Office people and workers alike enjoy the donuts. Granddad's is the place you want to go for donuts that Tim's no longer bake. Customers line up to buy their favorite donuts and the wait will not disappoint you.

An old school vibe with all the fixins. Grandad's has been around for decades and is a great spot to get good quality donuts, just like they used to be! No more of these tiny little things that you see at other coffee shops. The taste brings you back to when coffee shops where about the product and people they serve and not all about profit. If you're looking for a sweet treat and some good coffee to wash it down, Grandad's is the place.
