Great atmosphere, kind staff, quick service and amazing food. The chips and guac are a must-have and kale/squash taco is my favourite. I really appreciate the menu options and kindness of the staff in regards to food sensitivities. Excellent food for someone who is lactose-intolerant and can't handle much spice. Thank you!!
I've been here twice and the food was SO good both times. I tried the nachos last night and they were probably the best nachos I ever had :) thick cut deep fried tortillas for the chips... guac was delish... we had pomegranate on them which was a really interesting and yummy touch. I had 3 tacos and they were all delicious... service was great, I drank a ton of water and our server was quick at refilling the bottle for us. My only complaint was that my margarita wasn't in a traditional margarita glass - but it still tasted great! And that's a ridiculous complaint so really, everything was great and the prices were fair. I will definitely return.
Went here for the first time last night and was not disappointed! All of the tacos (especially the pork belly special) were just phenomenal. We had the churros with salted caramel for dessert, perfect amount of sweetness. Cocktails were great too, highly recommended!
Service was excellent. Helpful, enthusiastic and quick. Very rustic decor and their wide selection of tequila is well displayed behind the bar. The washroom situation is lacking. A simple selection of beer and a cocktails. Food was well prepared and plated. There's minimal app options and the tacos have something to suit all tastes. With the pick three you'd have no problem trying 3 different veg or 3 different meats. Burrito was good too.
Update from Sept 2019- another exceptional dinner. Service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. Our appetizer (dip duo) came out promptly and the margaritas were great. Only suggestion would be to give a bit more time between appetizer and entree as we barely made a dent in appetizer when the meal came.
Simply the best- service, food, atmosphere. It never disappoints. Hubby and I were there for our anniversary. Margaritas were delicious, guacamole fresh and chips fried per order. We each had 3 tacos and they were INCREDIBLE! Our favourite place to go!
Super tasty menu, small and niche tacos and mexican inspired food items. Got greeted right away when we walked in the door, had such a great experience with the staff there! They made us feel warm and welcome.
My partner and I ordered 3 tacos each and 2 apps. It was actually too much food! We were stuffed in the end and should have just 1 appetizer.
We absolutely *loved* their Tuna Poke Nachos. Wow! They were rich, delicious and the chips were thick and kept crunchy. We also had the Jicama salad which was good albeit compared to the Nachos were bland.
We had a variety of tacos, our favourites were Pulled Pork and Fried Fish. Anything you order, you can't go wrong (though I found the pork belly a little dry).
Incredible flavour, great decor
My 11 year old and I came from lunch. We had two tacos (cubana and shrimp) and Nachos Granada. Every bite was amazing. Way better than the other top rated Mexican place. Good service, but really... the food. Off the charts good. So creative. Can’t wait to go back and try other ones.
While in town, we stopped here for tacos and margaritas...great deals on Monday nights!! 3 tacos for $13 and margaritas for $5. The tacos are small but filling and delicious!! I had the cheese, cauliflower, and bang bang shrimp...all three were fried and tasty!! Lots of fresh flavors for fried ingredients! I really liked the cheese. It was my favorite. It was very filling!
Chips and salsa are fresh. Chips are hot, crispy and salted. The salsa is chunky and delicious!!
The margaritas are very good. Fresh lime juice. Good tequila. Nice summer drink and refreshing after a hot day!
We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. It is small on the inside and I think it is usually packed but worth it. We came a little later and it worked perfectly for seating!
Great food and atmosphere. Staff was efficient and lots of fun cocktails. No reservations. Would definitely come back because we couldn't try everything. Couldn't stop eating the jicama salad and my fav taco was the pig jowl and the cheese one. Definitely recommend!
Tacos are out of bounds, the flavour is full and the selection is plentiful. The portions are great, but the price does sting just a little bit. If the three tacos came with a little side (even if it was just guac and chips) it would be a little easier to swallow at 18$ for 3 tacos. The coffee here is fantastic because they get their beans fresh from the little Roastery down the road.
