One of the best donairs I've ever had. The meat is of high quality and nice and crispy. I really liked the cheese they had as well, it was nice and chunky and parts of it were crispy. I've had better sweet sauce but it was still really good. Bit surprised I had to ask for lettuce (which they kindly added) idk maybe it's a Nova Scotia thing? Either way the donair was excellent. With free delivery and cheap prices I highly recommend

Twas a quiet afternoon when i wandered into this delightful little pizzaria. The staff was very friendly. My pizza, (see my pic) came quickly and was very tasty. Good crust, yummy sauce and a healthy amount of toppings. I think one of the staffs children were there that afternoon also having some pizza, they were very well behaved. As i left another staff, possibly the owner thanked me for coming and wished me a good day. An all around pleasant experience. Well done!!
Fantastic Pizza!. Ordered a pizza and garlic fingers from Rugova's after a horrible experience with the local Domino's (80 min wait for a cold pizza, no thank you!) and I couldn't have been happier! Delicious pizza and garlic fingers, very friendly and quick. Will order from Rugova's again with no hesitation :)

Awesome. I really miss living in the South End and being abe to order from here the pizza is great, well priced and customer service is amazing. When I lived in the South End this was my go to for pizza.
Great. Pizza lover, still think Ravana's no. 1 ... but this is my no. 2 and a great lunch price too and options for pizza toppings!

Quality: We were 5, we had a club and fries, a lunch special (pizza/pop), a fresh pizza, and a chicken wrap.
The food was hot, fresh and great taste. The portion sizes were perfect. (Lunch special was massive), club sandwich was a monster as well.
Service: It is great to report the lady at the cash was very patient with us and offered us solutions as we were flipping on choices. Plenty of eye contact and active listening to help us figure out our order.
Standing in front, there was 5 pizza places within eyesight, I'm glad we chose to dine there. We will be back next time we go to Halifax.
Love the small businesses, they typically have Service and quality lost on the chain restaurants.
Loved this place. Came highly recommended and I really got the feel of a local joint.
The medium Donair was pretty damn big, and I'm a big guy. It's basically not physically edible when first served, it's so over-stuffed on the plate that you have to eat a portion with a fork before you can fold the pita and eat it like it's meant to be eaten.

This place is AMAZING for donairs. The portions are huge (you definitely get bang for your buck) and it is delicious and well-packed. A new favourite for donairs in the city! Highly recommended for the great food and great service.
The poutine was also a great portion, I just wish there were cheese curds instead of shredded cheese. But the gravy was delicious; it's less salty than traditional gravy at take-out spots. This place isn't too far from the Dal campus and so may be a new favourite for me.
The large donair was HUGE I probably could have shared it. The garlic fries were amazing and everything came with SO MUCH sauce (make sure to ask for it on the side).
We had the garlic cheese fingers and it was very good. The sauce was good too. The service was excellent and the prices fair.
Slice and pop for $5.75. Solid competitor in the Halifax pizza scene. The slice tasted very good and the vegetables still had a crunch to them which was nice. The crust was also cooked perfectly. However, I prefer a thicker and doughy crust but this is a personal preference. Also, I thought the sauce could use more seasoning (basil/oregano, chili flake, etc.) as the slice was a little bland. A change in music would also make the atmosphere more enjoyable for customers. Overall, good slice although a couple of adjustments would make it really good!
Was on a trip with my wife and we came here looking to find authentic Halifax donair. We were not disappointed! The food was tasty and the portions were great for the price (don't underestimate how much meat they can fit in the large!). The fact we went back a second time before leaving should be an indication how much we enjoyed the food.
Every time I travel to Halifax I end up at Rugova’s for some late night food after the bars. This place is actually owned and operated by one of the nicest people I have ever met. John and his staff make the best pizza and poutines. For five dollars a slice you can’t beat the price and the piece of pizza you get is massive and you can also drink a liquor beverage and listen to some good tunes and have some good laughs. Thanks Rugova’s for always making Halifax a great experience for us!!
I know that donairs are supposed to be drunk food but as a visitor to Halifax (read: donair first timer), I couldn't help but order one mid-day. While I went in with low expectations, I left pleasantly surprised at how tasty the sandwich was - the meat, which resembles gyro, was spiced well and the tomatoes and onions were the perfect accocmpaniment. The ability to sub donair sauce with (sugarless) garlic sauce was a plus too.
